I'm pretty sure if Liara wanted to have little blue babies with Shepard she could

Why would she want to? She's the Shadow Broker now and she seems to enjoy it. Having children would change that lifestyle, in simple terms the Base is no place to raise children...and that's a job where any weakness will be attacked by the vultures and power seekers.

Shepard couldn't have a child on the Normandy either, they're going to fight against a fleet of sentient dreadnaughts and their numerous pawns. The Normandy's already been destroyed once and boarded with the crew kidnapped and maybe killed.

It would be reckless to want kids before destroying the Reaper threat...and who says either one will survive that?

Whos to say she stay been the SB or that she'll even continue to run it?
if I recall from Feron and herself afterwards, she seems more interested with going over piles of data than running the buisness of been the SB, and remember shes still really into the protheans and they might be the answer to stopping the reapers and she may choose to pursue that.

Also I get the feeling the reapers are gonna strike at shepards friends and allies next which includes her, and there is prolly alot more agents of the Reapers out there that we have'nt run into yet, Repaers are coming but they'll still have Mortal Slaves and Zealots to soften the galaxy up.
Thats my speculation anywayz, I can't wait to see whats coming between now and ME3.

As for her having shepards kids, heh it'll prolly happen provided she and shep survive whatever happens in ME3.

I reckon after everything Shephard has been through - he/she died and lives to tell about it :P If he/she has a LI and at any point in the DLC's or ME3, there comes a storyline where a child is wanted by either shephard or that LI, there will be a way it will happen.

As far as it appears, nothin seems impossible for Shephard...

Besides, if Morrigan conceives a god baby - Shephard should be able to have offspring - there's always a loop hole when it comes to these things ;)

But in saying that, there might be no baby at all, which is a slightly disappointing thought...

But in saying THAT, its been said that ME3 is supposed to be less heavy, with a more relaxed aura and some humour, so it could set up nicely to have some personal storyline invloved in it with regards to the LI. Plus if Bioware merely put Miranda's 'wanting a baby' in the dossier just for fun or whatever, I think that's pretty irrelevant and pointless. Would something that important/major/serious really be put in the game just for the hell of it - the fact she happens to be a LI and she happens to want a child with the perfect father i.e perfect candidate Shephard seems a little fishy ;) :P

If the possibilty of a child is avaliable(forget how, it can just happen), who would you have as the Mother or Father, and why?

I'd choose Miranda, just because she'd be hilarious being pregnant - imagine her grumping at Shephard, oh and JOKER...it would be epic! :D

The only thing is that Miranda can't have children... Apparently her fathers genetic engineering prevents it and this could be one of the reasons why Miranda is such an ice queen and seeks acceptance in her romance. She's flattered when Shepard tells that she's great just how she is and her personality and spirit make her great.

I keep desiring a cute little scene, where Shepard, for some reason, finds him/herself alone with a clutch of hatching salarian eggs. Imprinting, awkwardness, imposed responsibility, snide remarks, etc, ensues. :7

Dr.T'Soni looked very suddenly surprised and overjoyed in a certain LotSB ending - maybe, going for the right spot, Shepard proved that (s)he /doesn't/... just...say these things. :P

Morrigan... I wonder whether importing a certain sort of Witch hunt saves into DA3 will leave your character with a nasty scar, inflicted pre-birth. :P

Personally I doubt that Liara and Shepard will have kids, Liara is about 250 years away from her matron stage.

asari are capable of going into matron and matriach state whenever they want to but it will happend at some point (matron is at 350 I think and matriach is at 750) if you don't believe me then go to wikipedia and search on "races of the mass effect universe"

I have always thought that Shep might have had a child by Ashley if he romanced her in ME1. If he did, that would make ME 3 that much more interesting because it would give Ash a great deal of leverage against him. Especially if he romanced Miranda, Tali, or Jack. Not saying that he did, only that it is possible.

I had a thought about the ending for ME3 tonight. It was basically a literal Paragon or Renegade choice. Some sort of plot device makes it so you can either get all the Reapers back into Dark Space for the next 50,000 years (Renegade) OR you can sacrifice yourself and destroy the Reaper threat forever (Paragon). If something like a self-sacrifice was in the game I'd want to see in an epilogue that my love interested had children that were my Shepard's (which for FemShep I guess could only mean Liara)

I foresee Liara and Jack being the only candidates for motherhood in the series. Not sure why, but I think they'd be able to support the child the easiest. Dunno why I don't think Ashley could, but I just can't see her as being a mother.

Jack totally though. Best mom ever

Manshep could have an unknown child via some relationship before ME1. An adolescent or adult offspring would be the only one that could actively take part in the story anyway.

It'll be Anakin style.

Also, it should totally be James Vega
