if you cant take 7 minutes to watch a video than yea my guess is your a troll with multiple usernames

Calling me a troll or saying I'm didy is funny, I like you.

Here's the Codex Entry for Asari:

The asari were the first species to discover the Citadel. When the salarians arrived, it was the asari who proposed the establishment of the Citadel Council to maintain peace throughout the galaxy. Since then, the asari have served as the mediators and centrists of the Council.

An all-female race, the asari reproduce through a form of parthenogenesis. They can attune their nervous system to that of another individual of any gender, and of any species, to reproduce. This capability has led to unseemly and inaccurate rumors about asari promiscuity.

Asari can live for over 1,000 years, passing through three stages of life. In the Maiden stage, they wander restlessly, seeking new knowledge and experience. When the Matron stage begins, they "meld" with interesting partners to produce their offspring. This ends when they reach the Matriarch stage, where they assume the roles of leaders and councilors.

Notice how it says "parthenogenesis"? Look it up.

Meh, it's cool to try and perceive something differently than the masses do when it's something that ISNT properly explained. But in this case, it IS explained (as per in the video and even in the codex) and therefore trying to perceive it differently just makes the person who is, completely and utterly wrong.

Buddy, parthenogenesis has to do with fertilizing eggs. No, other species do not "Fertilise" the asari eggs the conventional way. Instead, genetic traits are taken from the species mind, and given to their daughters.

I feel like a complete nerd debating this, but you're wrong.

Yeah, I've seen it all before.  Guess what?  You missed some things (most relevant bits emphasized):

Liara: "'Mating' is not quite the proper term.  Not as you understand it. Physical contact may or may not be involved."

and:

Liara: "Or so conventional wisdom would hold."

Now, here's some ME2 dialogue:

Aethyta:  "Scientists say that stuff about us getting genetic material from the father is crap."

Erinya:  "We hardly need your alien DNA to randomize genetic material.  A little radiation would work just as well."

Blue-Rose Of Ilium:  "Non-asari don't always get that we're not taking alien DNA, we're just using it to randomize the genetic information."

And some selections from the  Codex:

Asari

An all-female race, the asari reproduce through a form of parthenogenesis.

Asari: Biology

An asari provides two copies of her own genes to her offspring. The second set is altered in a unique process called melding.

And finally, a definition:

Parthenogenesis (from the Greek παρθένος parthenos, "virgin", + γένεσις genesis, "birth") is a form of asexual reproduction found in females, where growth and development of embryos occurs without fertilization by a male.

So, tell me again: what have I missed?

It's also said multiple times in the game dialogue from Asari with multispecies parents and it's part of the reproduction of a female Asari. It's a common idea that a parent recieves traits from the other species but like it's been said a dozen times it's only an assumption that Asari as a whole have.

Here's the wikipedia article.

It proves nothing? Ok, you actually DIDNT watch it then.  Seriously, how is Liara explaining IN DEPTH how this whole process works NOT proof?  Seriously, Dave...you're wrong.  Just deal with it and move on.  Im wrong alot of times and you just learn to deal with it and learn from it.  But most importantly, you MOVE ON lol.

Oh-kay. Liara explaining it > everybody else that mentioned it being bull****. I see how it is, Liara knows everything. I mean, just because it supports your point instead of mine IT MUST BE RIGHT.

I must've missed that entry. Which means now Ill have to go find it just so I know it's there now lol.  Anyway, now that my perceptions of the Asari have been COMPLETELY shattered, it adds a second race to my list of ME races that I dont like.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

We are one day closer to the asari's ultimate doom and the final and total victory of the human race over their insideous empire.

Personally I doubt that Liara and Shepard will have kids, Liara is about 250 years away from her matron stage.

Good point. The matron stage can happen sooner if Liara melds often (which she doesn't), but doubt she could shave 250 years off her maiden life stage anyway.
