I think the mages in DAO were fine. A few spells were too useful, like cone of cold, force field, prison.

So tweaking the spells is all that really needed to be done, in my opinion.

I would love to see an arcane warrior spec path that is mostly badarsed staff melee.

Almost forgot; shapeshifting needed a boost in overall power.

if warriors get some badass specialization (something like a weapons master *wink wink*:P) i'm okay with it

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet (it probably has) but I really underestimated blood magic and didn't use it so much to begin with. Then I managed to shorten down the last battle in Denerim considerably by using Blood Wound, that's really effective.



Here's for blood magic specialization in DA2!

I would not be surprised to see a weapon master ability in there somewhere.



Warriors are already badarsed...in my current game of DAO, morrigan died about five times while I was in Redcliff. It seemed every time I looked away she would go down with lightning speed. I started suspecting Allistair of letting her get hit on purpose.
