Fallout NV is looking really impressive. It's like a better version of 3.

buy dead rising 2 and you will be so busy with it you will forget about fallout and fable all together
Fallout NV has tedious achievements, so he'll have plenty of time to play a great RPG, instead of a mediocre action game.

On that note, will anyone get the collectors edition? I know its over priced, but, remains tempting still...

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is also a must buy for me as is Fable III. I might buy the Xbox360 version if a release date for the PC version is not announced soon.
I'm still undecided on Fallout New Vegas. I love Obsidian but the game looks way too similar to Fallout III which I only kind of like. Don't know if I can handle a complete rehash.

Lionhead have Microsoft publishing their titles (Aren't they owned by MS? I forget), and Obsidian have Bethesda, apparently one of the better publishers around.UBER GEEKZILLA wrote...
i think fable 3 will be better...i know most people dont trust lionhead but i think they are WAY more trustwprthy then obsidion ever could be
Either way, completely different kettle of fish. Obsidian have been plagued with bad publishers so far (LucasArts caused the KotOR2 situation; SEGA were partially responsible for Alpha Protocol's issues. Not sure about NWN2, though) and I don't think it's fair to really hold such a grudge against them. If they have any sense, and I'm sure they do, Fallout: New Vegas is going to blow away everything they've done so far. Fallout is, as best it can now, coming home to its true parents - Many of the top figures of Obsidian are ex-Fallout people - and Obsidian would be stupid to not capitalise on that.

Ugh. If you're going to rag on Obsidian for KotOR2, please arm yourself with the facts. Obsidian were approached (with BioWare's recommendation) to create KotOR2. Development started with, near enough, the release of KotOR. Obsidian were given no pre-development time to familiarise themselves with KotOR or the Expanded Universe. They had about 17 months of development time to research, design and then complete their debut product as a company, fully test it and have it ready for release. That is totally and utterly unreasonable.UBER GEEKZILLA wrote...
you want to know why kotor 3 hasnt come out..BECUZ OBSIDION BOTCHED THE FRANCHISE...i will never forgive obsidion and if fallout vegas suckes i will give them the honorary franchise ruiner award..i will still try fallout vegas but im much more excited for fable 3
Anyway, LucasArts own the Star Wars franchise. It's their decision if KotOR3 goes ahead or not (and likely won't for some time with TOR coming out). It was their fault KotOR2 was released how it was, not Obsidian's. If they'd given Obsidian another 6 months, perhaps a year, it would be a much better quality game.
Here, have two Wookiepedia links:
KotOR3 (Cancelled due to LucasArts having a "difficult period")
KotOR2

Members of Lucas and Bioware Austin have said SW:ToR takes the place of KoTOR
3,4,5,6,7,8,9........... I don't anticipate a KoTOR3 ever releasing.
Edit: I failed with the quotes
