I want both Fallout New Vegas and Fable 3 but I can afford only one of them and it kinda sucks because both look like they are great I'm worried that Fallout Vegas will be really buggy, now Alpha protocol was under rated and never ran into a glitch that ruined it for me but Star Wars Kotor, the whole story just fell apart in the end and became disjointed. Fable 2 I had lots of fun playing it, never ran into a glitch and was a lot of fun to play. Its a hard decision.

i say, wait a week after they're both released. look around the web what people think about each game and then make decision.

If you enjoyed Fable 2 more than anything by Obsidian, go for Fable 3. However, I think Fallout: New Vegas is going to be a lot better than anything they've done so far. Bethesda are a better publisher than SEGA or LucasArts, and as far as I'm aware there's been no rushing done with FO:NV. It's the closest we're ever going to get to a "true" Fallout game unless inXile, Obsidian and a few other studios (I think BioWare are included, too) join forces.

Wait for both games to come out.

Look at reviews for both games.

Profit.

It's an esay one for me; Fallout NV. I downloaded Fable 2 with Games on Demand and can't get past the third chapter/area. It's incredibly boring...................well, to me.

Fallout NV is looking really impressive. It's like a better version of 3.

Fallout NV has tedious achievements, so he'll have plenty of time to play a great RPG, instead of a mediocre action game.

Well, I have known that the dead rising 2 will release soon. So why not wait for it in a short time and then enjoy...it is much better than play the same games again :D

I just watched the Fable 3 opening cinematic and I shed a tear for that chicken. that opening alone made me actually want to play the game even though Fable 2 sucked although it is still only in rental status for me.

Cant wait to get both, though the way i fell in love with fallout 3 tells me new vegas will be better than fable 3

On that note, will anyone get the collectors edition? I know its over priced, but, remains tempting still...

Fable III will probably be delayed, so I say Fallout:NV.

Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby Epic Yarn. I know damn well I'm picking those up.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is also a must buy for me as is Fable III. I might buy the Xbox360 version if a release date for the PC version is not announced soon.

I'm still undecided on Fallout New Vegas.  I love Obsidian but the game looks way too similar to Fallout III which I only kind of like.  Don't know if I can handle a complete rehash.

Lionhead have Microsoft publishing their titles (Aren't they owned by MS? I forget), and Obsidian have Bethesda, apparently one of the better publishers around.

Either way, completely different kettle of fish. Obsidian have been plagued with bad publishers so far (LucasArts caused the KotOR2 situation; SEGA were partially responsible for Alpha Protocol's issues. Not sure about NWN2, though) and I don't think it's fair to really hold such a grudge against them. If they have any sense, and I'm sure they do, Fallout: New Vegas is going to blow away everything they've done so far. Fallout is, as best it can now, coming home to its true parents - Many of the top figures of Obsidian are ex-Fallout people - and Obsidian would be stupid to not capitalise on that.

Ugh. If you're going to rag on Obsidian for KotOR2, please arm yourself with the facts. Obsidian were approached (with BioWare's recommendation) to create KotOR2. Development started with, near enough, the release of KotOR. Obsidian were given no pre-development time to familiarise themselves with KotOR or the Expanded Universe. They had about 17 months of development time to research, design and then complete their debut product as a company, fully test it and have it ready for release. That is totally and utterly unreasonable.

Anyway, LucasArts own the Star Wars franchise. It's their decision if KotOR3 goes ahead or not (and likely won't for some time with TOR coming out). It was their fault KotOR2 was released how it was, not Obsidian's. If they'd given Obsidian another 6 months, perhaps a year, it would be a much better quality game.

Here, have two Wookiepedia links:
KotOR3 (Cancelled due to LucasArts having a "difficult period")
KotOR2

Members of Lucas and Bioware Austin have said SW:ToR takes the place of KoTOR
3,4,5,6,7,8,9........... I don't anticipate a KoTOR3 ever releasing.

Edit: I failed with the quotes :(
