Anyway, LucasArts own the Star Wars
franchise. It's their decision if KotOR3 goes ahead or not (and likely
won't for some time with TOR coming out)

Members of Lucas and Bioware Austin have said SW:ToR takes the place of KoTOR
3,4,5,6,7,8,9........... I don't anticipate a KoTOR3 ever releasing.

Edit: I failed with the quotes :(

I would love a real star wars kotor 3 I will never understand paying 20 or so dollars a month to play something even though I already payed 60 bucks and yeah I know they have to pay for servers and other crap but I still find it dumb and will never understand people doing it

most mmo's charge 14.99. I justify spending the money because they are always adding new content so its like buying dlc and they have to pay full time csr's to take care of any issue that may arise. Also any game that can hold my interest for more then a month deserves a little extra compensation

obsiodion also had 4 years to make alpha protocol..and apparently that wasnt enough time

Obsidian have said that was partially their own fault, although SEGA also take some of the blame for it. At least they can admit their mistakes.

i think fable 3 will be better...i know most people dont trust lionhead but i think they are WAY more trustwprthy then obsidion ever could be

Lionhead have Microsoft publishing their titles (Aren't they owned by MS? I forget), and Obsidian have Bethesda, apparently one of the better publishers around.

Either way, completely different kettle of fish. Obsidian have been plagued with bad publishers so far (LucasArts caused the KotOR2 situation; SEGA were partially responsible for Alpha Protocol's issues. Not sure about NWN2, though) and I don't think it's fair to really hold such a grudge against them. If they have any sense, and I'm sure they do, Fallout: New Vegas is going to blow away everything they've done so far. Fallout is, as best it can now, coming home to its true parents - Many of the top figures of Obsidian are ex-Fallout people - and Obsidian would be stupid to not capitalise on that.

OnlyShallow89 hit the nail on the head as for KotOR2 that was mostly Lucas Art's fault (install the RCM to see all that was cut) and in the little time they had they still made a fantastic game

Same for Alpha Protocol the game was still great, just not the bugs

I want both Fallout New Vegas and Fable 3 but I can afford only one of them and it kinda sucks because both look like they are great I'm worried that Fallout Vegas will be really buggy, now Alpha protocol was under rated and never ran into a glitch that ruined it for me but Star Wars Kotor, the whole story just fell apart in the end and became disjointed. Fable 2 I had lots of fun playing it, never ran into a glitch and was a lot of fun to play. Its a hard decision.

As others have suggested, wait for the reviews - not just for the "is this fun" report, but for the bug and glitch report as well.  Or, if you are more impatient, pick which setting interests you more.  ;)

Out of curiosity, how long did you wait after Fable 2's release date to play?  I ran into some pretty bad bugs when I played.

New Vegas.

I am buying both myself, you have too ask yourself what do you enjoy more. An action adventure that has a cartoony feel too it with a fairly linear story or a sand box open world rpg/fps with a more realistic feel. I'm sure both will be awesome but I am much more a Fallout fan then Fable.

Seemed enough time for me, it works fine and is a good game.  Loved it better than any of the Fable games, and Molyneux lied about what you could do in Fable, lied like a ****.  I would not trust that git, he was blatantly bull****ting about Kinect and that kid thing too ('Ooh I can catch a ball!  This isn't scripted at all, honest...').
