I'm curious. Did you link this survey on other Mass Effect related message boards or just this one?

Honestly, I think the numbers are so different because you can only vote once in this poll. Even the best of people will vote twice if they can give their choice a better outcome.

Im sorry, I realise that 3 hours is a long time and responding after so long makes me seem obsessive, but i would like to say that yes, in an actual real world political election, candidates can quickly lose support. But when your dealing with characters who are static and unchanging, your not given a reason to suddenly hate them.Tyrium wrote...

For the record, my opinion of Liara skyrocketed with the release of Lair of the Shadowbroker, so her scoring high isnt a shock to me, but theres no way a character can go from (a very conservative estimate of) number 3 to number 7 in an accurate vote. It just doesnt happen.
Yes, yes it can. One need only look to the recent Australian election for an example ... It's not often, but public opinion can change very drastically very fast.
Of course, The Tali fans probably aren't visiting so much, as stated before, and LOTSB certainly improved people's perceptions of Liara - for me she went from annoying whiny in ME1 -> annoying in ME2 -> awesome in LOTSB
Liara is the only character to have had the chance to change people opinions. Mine was cirtainly changed for the better after the DLC. (In fact, in retrospect, i may have rated her a bit too low.)
