I've played through the game several times. Now that I've got the shadow broker DLC, I started abrand new game.
Everything works fine until I go to Illium for the first time. I can not take the path through the door beneath Liara'a offices. The game freezes, black screens with some sound continuing, and then crashes and I have to restart the game. I tried restarting to the same problem. So instead I went up and talked with Liara for the first time.
Upon leaving her offices, the same problem happens as I walk down the steps and out...
Anyone having a similar issue?

I've got the same problem as well. Defragging fixed it for a moment, but when I went down the hallway to the spaceport, it crashed again.

I've also had this exact same issue.
I also wanted to see what would happen if I picked up the mission and then tried to leave Illium going back the way you came in order to get there, I also crash there.
After giving Liara the intel and agreeing to meet her at her apartment later, however, I am able to finish the DLC. But, if I try to return to Illium and go back through that hallway, I crash again.

Alright, here's a quick question for everyone: Did anyone have their download interrupted, or paused?
I'm starting to think that because my connection dropped a few times during the download, something might have happened to the files, even though everything installed properly. I've already uninstalled the game, did a clean sweep, and reinstalled the game, but I'm still hitting the same issue...and none of these problems happened until I installed LotSB.

Its wierd, Once talking to Liara I was able to go on through the door, and recruit Samara and Thane, but still run into an issue once I try to go back to her offices. At this point the only thing I can think of doing is finishing what I need to do with the DLC, finish Maranda's quest, and never return to Illium. Besides the crash, I don't think at this point its possible to complete the hack the terminals quest that Liara gives you....

No, mine wasn't interrupted at all, and I'm having this glitch.
