when i start out in the deep roads there is mist in the first room you get into. or fog, whatever you'd call it.

but nothing hapens, and i cant move through the fog. i checked a walkthrough and apparently im supposed to be attacked by a bunch of shrieks but it doesn't happen.

i searched google and the forums a bit but couldn't find a solution.

I have the same problem, but can't find a fix for it/
