I purchased the Manual: Ranger off of Bodahn Feddic in camp, but had to load up a previously saved game. When I came back to camp, the Manual was no longer available for purchase.
I have since reloaded every saved game and tried to go to camp to buy the manual, but it is NOT there for any saved game. HELP!
Thanks for any assistance anyone can give.

because it is unlocked forever now, across all characters. More pointedly, you can become a ranger on all characters from now on. So the manual would be stuid to buy anyway.

yea once you buy a book or unlock the spec thru a quest you never have to do it again so with 15 gold you could buy every spec book in the game just save before hand and reload to get the gold back might as well since in your next play thru you will not have to buy them anyways

yea once you buy a book or unlock the spec thru a quest you never have to do it again so with 15 gold you could buy every spec book in the game just save before hand and reload to get the gold back might as well since in your next play thru you will not have to buy them anyways

Well by definition most exploits are caused by bugs, but thats neither here nor there. I was mainly saying that it being unlocked for all playthroughs sounds like a bug. Unless its a reward for having unlocked it...but still seems a silly way of doing it.

No, its intended. your rewards for obtaining them by all means is that you can have them from the get go later on. Like when you woo Morrigan and she unlocks shapeshifter, you can then become shapeshifter at level 7 on any mage, its just a perk.

On a side note have you noticed these forums are acting all kinds of wierd today? For instance right now I only see the first 4 posts of this thread. Stopping at the double post by Gropax, yet you and I have both responded multiple times AND I have been able to read those responses. Yet for the moment they aren't showing...I think the server needs a maintenance cycle done.
