Any chance we might some day see some of the DLC tracks, Chris? Some of these DLC tracks are great too...

Would be happy to see the recycled Afterlife music get a proper release, as well (Callista and Techno Madness...) But the Kasumi soundtrack really is top-notch, too...

Thank you !

Mass Effect 1 & 2 soundtracks are among the best video game soundtracks ever created.

I'll stick with the soundtracks to 1 and 2, 2 being superior to 1.  You can see the evolution of the music from 1 to 2 as most of the music from 1 is too short and fragmented while the music from 2 is more coherent/longer.  The atmospheric music is short little snippets rather than complete pieces.

The atmospheric soundtrack is a nice short bit of extracts which I'll digest over time.

I've made/used versions of the DLC soundtrack that people have ripped and edited from the game, I'm hopefully going to do one for LotSB at some point.

I originally bought the first one for 'The Wards' track and ended up enjoying the majority of the CD. I'd recommended that one before 2.

Chris, You guys do a heck of a job honestly.

But please dont forget Spotify, you already have ME1 in there! And CDs on bioware store would be most appreciated. Im gladly paying for this epic music art if it moves to cd/dvd!

I saw '3' and 'Mass Effect' in the same title and nearly had a heart attack.

The ME2 soundtrack is very well done indeed, but it will always be the ME1 soundtrack that defines the game and the setting for me; a quirky electronic/industrial mix combined with periodic epic orchestral scores. For those who have neither, be aware that the ME1 soundtrack pieces are very much structured in the way of a game soundtrack, whereas you'll find the ME2 tracks have been redone and ordered so that they stand on their own somewhat better.

Also, there is a typo on the page. Samara may or may not have to teach you a lesson in spelling... with many bullets.

Wow. On amazon.com it is $3.99 which is £2.50. On amazon.co.uk it is £6.99. It appears the extra £4.50 gets you "Samara" spelled correctly though.
