I too own the first 2 soundtracks. Just great music really. I really really loved the first one and listened to it everyday while working. When the second one came out, I still enjoyed the ME1 more, but now I'm all over the ME2 one. Every day.



And yep, I would LOVE to own the Afterlife song too!

Hmh. Mass Effect 1 soundtrack is missing from 7Digital. Can't buy from Amazon and iTunes sucks, I'd much rather buy from 7Digital (320 kbps AAC). Kinda weird that EA doesn't have ME1 soundtrack there. Bought few ME2 tracks that were missing from DDE for 7Digital.

I came here as well to campaign for DLC tracks, basically all the music tracks Hey I love the games and Jack Walls music for it, I don't actually know 100% he did the DLC stuff would have to check credits. I am kinda excited that Oddworld Strangers Wrath is being released for PS3... I have Vol 1 of the soundtrack, but it lacks the incredible, emotional triumph of the last run toward the end... I will have to write that composer(Michael Bross).

Can we get a compilation of all ME2 music?

This would include the two albums you already released, plus all the additional music left out of the previous albums. The DLC music, the bar music, even the music from the Press START screen. Every song.

Even though i bought the other two, I would drop more cash on this if it would happen. Maybe Bioware is waiting till they finish making DLC to do this? If so, then let me know.

@Aratham Darksight try searching in the iTunes store of your country. I live in Sweden and were able to buy all the albums.
But as dazyb said.. MP3 is not the same as lossless quality.
As a soundtrack collector, I want lossless, no matter how much extra cost.

Btw, It seems to me they won't release Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 2: Atmospheric soundtracks as CD's since they have removed the part in the products description on their store that say "Coming Soon".. what a shame..

Burn it to CD...after converting to a different format if you wish (ogg, m4u, etc).

I live in Hungary. There is no iTunes store for my country. Not one that sells music, anyway.

@Getorex I spoke with Gabriel Shadid, one of the composers in Epic Score and he told me that the quality most companies release on CD's are basically 16bit/44.1kHz WAV files.

It's not that MP3 is terrible, but its noticeably worse than WAV.

I know that Amazon.com doesn't allow anyone outside the US to download MP3

Would be better just to release the goddamn CD's as they made it seem with the "Coming Soon" and all.. But if they changed their mind, what can you do?...

Not to be greedy, but the music from Gameplay #1 Trailer was the song that really made me excited for this game in the beginning. I don't know if I haven't listened to it enough, but it doesn't seem like Atmospheric or the actual ME 2 soundtrack has that specific song.

The bar music from Omega is actually from a previous EA game, so most likely it will not be released as a ME 2 Soundtrack.

Having just started playing ME2 again with the new DLC I must say I REALLY want more music made available for download. I love the music played during the Project Overlord battles. There were other bits here and there during ME2 that I was sorry didn't make it into the music releases While somewhat redundant, my favs from the ME2 soundtrack are "End Run" and "Suicide Mission" - part of that same theme that didn't make it into the music release was the version played during the actual movement through the Collector Base while your biotic choice was providing a biotic shield around your team. It started lowkey and seemed to involve oboes or some similar woodwind instrument (or synthesized version of same) - I REALLY liked that version of the theme.

The current ambient music release is rather sparse and just doesn't do it for me. More finished pieces that can stand on their own as pieces of finished music please...please no more 1 or 2 minute music samples, I mean, what's the point?).
