I'm still waiting for Techno Madness and all the DLC tracks like the other folks around here. But especially Techno Madness. Sometimes I just stand at the lower afterlife club for 15 minutes, because that track is so nice

this is wonderful news, but I'd really like to see hard copy albums be released, just as the Mass Effect 1 soundtrack was. You can't collect digital files. It doesn't work.

I've managed to get some of the music I REALLY wanted (that isn't yet officially available) from Youtube. In particular, there is a user there (Creator1) who is quite good at extracting the music from the game. I even got a mix request filled - I love the music played during the suicide mission when everyone is inside the biotic barrier. There is the music before combat starts and then the version that plays during combat. I got a mix of the two that blends together without hitch. Also got the Overlord combat music as well (now both on my iPod along with the soundracks of ME1 and ME2. Even so, I would definitely purchase officially-released versions of this music if made available.

A bunch of ME2 combat music is available at eMusic for purchase/download. I am wondering about some of the people here who are holding out for an official CD release...why? CD quality is not lossless. Downloading a version from eMusic or some other distributer and then burning it to CD isn't necessarily going to give you a lower quality CD except that it wont have a pretty picture on the cover or on the CD (unless you have one of those printing burners).



I will soon be buying the eMusic ME2 combat music compilation...

By the way...I just uploaded a video slideshow of one of my Suicide Mission runs with my own edited version of "The Long Walk" music played during that portion of the game on youtube: 

I LOVE this music and was sad that it didn't make it into the OST for ME2 and hasn't yet made it out in the most recent offering.  Until they release it then I have it as it is in this youtoobie, playable on my mp3 player and ipod.

I'm very shocked that the track that plays during the vent part of the suicide run (the same track that plays in the part of Tali's recruitment mission where you fight the recon drones before you fight the Colossus) didn't make it in the soundtrack. That was easily my favorite track in the game.

Well that sucks. The "Mass Effect 2: Combat" album/soundtrack is unavailable in the USA from eMusic. Guess I have to stick with ripping the ones I want from the game itself

Well.. You can get it off youtube.. I have the music from Lower Omega Afterlife, which I got from youtube. It sounds really good when you have a 5.1 sound system.

Please release on CD or make a DLC package with the music in FLAC or similar lossless audio format, that doesnt require a specific player (like itunes) to play.

I bought ME2 and the ME Faunts music. Frankly, put it on an iPod Touch and you'll get your CD quality. My iPod Touch makes all music sound fabulous.

Bought the first two soundtracks and I can see me picking up the Atmosphere and Combat ones really, really soon



I'd also like to see the dance track from Omega available and anything else thats not been released into one final disc/download.



Hope Jack's doing soundtrack to ME3 as well.

I'll definitely be buying that Mass Effect combat album when it comes out. I can just never have enough Jack Wall work. The guy is just amazing to me, really hope he's doing the ME3 soundtrack. I had to go the hard way to get the Upper Afterlife track (Saki Kaska - Callista) and the ungodly wonderful Eternity track (Comaduster - To Seek, To Hide).



I'm really hoping they do give us the music from the DLCs. LotSB has some fantastic music and I don't really want to chop up the suites you can find on youtube just to get the individual tracks.
