That's why I'd like alot more Tali/Legion dialgue I think that if you have Legion on her loyalty quest than it would have been great for him to say something like "But a rock is not home... you have a home with your people and with Shepard Comander." His pure logical way of thinking when it comes to what 'home' really is would have I thnk gave her pause.

As much as I hate wisdom coming from a machine, that's a clever idea.

1) You were told up front how much you could get for selling it

3) Tali asked you not to do it

Give us your break-point for the reward.  I've no clue what mine would be.

Though 3) probably wouldn't phase me unless it actually had consequences.

Legion already says that to Shepard. So I can see him saying it to Tali with some mellow music playing in the background.

Depends on which Shepard I'm playing. My canon Shepard keeps all the squadmates alive and loyal just to see all the content in ME3. My "me" Shepard isn't really given the options I'd like for the situation, so I scrap Legion on those. So for my canon Shepard:
To sell, and therefore miss content, would need to be upwards of 400,000 credits, with some special super expensive item you can only afford with that money added. Like an industrial strength room sanitizer. 400k would be enough to get most, if not all, the upgrades you couldn't afford if you decide not to get the item.

So if she said "Shepard, I'll work with Cerberus, assassins, and even insane biotics for you, but please, please don't ask me to work with a geth!" it wouldn't phase you?

I'm just hassling you, but it'd be a hard decision for me to make.

I was always kind of disappointed they didn't bother to have Tali comment on Legion in the debriefing room if you had recruited her at that point.

It wouldn't be so difficult for me, since I can control myself and not let others choose for me.

Yeah the reward from a gamer perspective isn't really worth squat for turning Legion in. By the time I get to that point I've already bought everything (for the most part) there is to buy. Almost entirely fully upgraded. I also don't tend to get greedy for money, so some game currency that's unrequired seems pointless, it would have to be something of heavy benefit for me to actually force a real thought process on what to go for.

If Tali had something to say about it, I'd still always have him around. Far to interesting not to and that's usually why I do stuff, if it interests me. And I figure while she may get angry initially there would most likely be opportunities to finally show her the young brainwashing shes taught about the evil monsters maaaay not exactly be right. Her attitude (as much as I <3 tali) towards the Geth is very blind. Becomes more apparent of that once you actually talk to Legion. Incapable of accepting the idea that her ancestors may of been a bit over zealous in there judgment of there creation. So yeah even if she had somethinh to say (which I wish she did) I'd of activated him anyways. And always do on all my Shepards, but I don't have a single Shepard (even my renegade **** one) who's like 'Cerberus is O.K.! =D'.

Meh.  Probably not.  I'd agonize more, but I'm a stickler for "secret" characters.

Again, absent consequences, nope.  You're talking to the guy who hits her with the homeworld talk on the Alarei every time.

It's intentional I'll bet. Although it is interesting that they made a dossier for a sold Legion but not Morinth.

You say brainwashed, I say brilliant, an impasse! :P

Yeah, I was a bit confused the first time I played ME2 and she had nothing to say about Legion. I was wondering if I needed to have her on the Reaper mission or something.

Tali should still be affected by what Legion has to say. There has to be a DLC where the two of them has more dialogue with Shepard and each other. It has a lot of potential. Also, it wouldn't kill me to have more LI options/dialogue with Tali and Legion is my favorite robot. Ever. Period.

She argues against bringing Legion back with you if you take her on that mission.

Theres just some things we have to do for the sake of the galaxy. We all love and respect Tali, but there are just some things we have to accept, whether she likes it or not. Besides, Leigon will most likely benefit you and Tali in the future.

I can't pick. I love Tali AND Legion. I hope I don't get punched for saying that. But having the two of them around is just far too interesting, possibility-wise. Think of the subplots and dialog that could result. A good story is nothing without appropriate amounts of conflict.

Theres no danger in saying that. We love Tali, but Legion is an amazing representative for true geth. Not to mention he'd be extremely valuable if not in future ME2 DLC,  then in ME3. Besides, give it time and they'll enjoy each other's support.

Like you can tell the future . I think Legion wearing YOUR armor would do his best to gain YOUR favor, including building alliances and peace between the peoples of himself and YOUR lady.

I have a strong feeling that ME3 is going to be about finding groups that are willing to fight against the Reapers with you and I think it's pretty obvious that the Geth would be more than happy to help Shepard and his team do this. I think that we'll finally get a chance to see what is beyond the Veil and see Geth controled space for the first time. I'm hoping that we can bring another member of the party along in that case Tali would have to go. There would be so many interesting dialogue scenes. Like hearing her voice when she finally gets to see her people's homeworld would be something that people have been waiting for since ME1.

Then you could have some interesting scenes with all three of them, Tali being happy around Shepard and then getting mad at Legion because she blames his people for what happened then maybe should could have a change of heart during that time?

These machines. They are cunning. They are plotting. I follow Sergio's model of the ME universe. I see them coming. I will be ready. And so will Tali

They're persisting, theyre just a bunch of old, fat ships, so they move reeeeaaaallllyyyy slow without the Galatic Greyhound.

I also feel this way. I love Tali and Legion and the conflict between those two could shape up to be the most awesome interactions in the game.
