I think it sounds really Russian/Ukrainian personally, same as Prazza's accent (which is totally Russian and sounds like Niko in GTA: IV).

Niko Tali, my cousin!

Actually Niko is Bosnian Serb but voice actor is Russian and he really fails to have Serbian accent and talk Serbian. This is coming from Croat while Croatian and Serbian languages have only few differences.

Also Prazza has Eastern Slavic accent.

I'd like a DLC involving Tali and Legion, and their growing friendship.

And no, it doesn't have to be about the quarian/geth situation. Think outside the box.

Since both of them can die in ME2 then no.
ME3 is must go for that.

Hence why I hate it when people ship Tali with anyone other than Shepard, she clearly states she'd never trusted anyone other than him/her enough to actually show her face. (Yes, I'd definitely support Tali showing her face to femShep at some point. Like Shala linking up with Tali's mom.)

The fact that she's never trusted anybody to that extent before doesn't mean that she can't grow to that level of trust later, with someone else and under different circumstances. As someone who mostly plays FemSheps, I find this view slightly too emphatic. It's like you're saying that Tali is doomed to remain single if your canon Shepard happens to be female.

To destroy her character character like that just to hook her up with the likes of Kal would be disrespectful to the material BioWare provides you with. (Not to mention there's something called friendship, too. But apparently a female and male can't be nice to each other without there being some sort of sexual tension.)

Again, I obviously have an angle here, but statements like this feel slightly disrespectful to me. I'm not stupid, I completely agree that a female and a male CAN be nice to each other without there being any ulterior motives, and I'm the first person to roll my eyes when people start envisioning Shepard/Nihlus or Shepard/Anderson. I'm not saying Tali should end up with Veetor, that she has a secret crush on Han or Garrus, or semi-repressed fantasies about Jacob or Legion. I respect the fact that, if your Shepard is male, then he's Tali's OTP. In fact, that's exactly how I see it too. But shouldn't this kind of tolerance work both ways? What if Shepard is female?

I'm not going to start a big argument over this, I'd just like to say that envisioning Tali with someone other than Shepard somewhere down the line does not automatically mean that you misunderstand her character or that you disrespect her. And no, it doesn't have to be Kal, I'm perfectly fine with that.

Thisthisthissomuchthis! I'd pay good money for that!

And I just got the cutest mental image of them getting to be friends and bonding over Tali forcing him to sit still so she can fix his hole

Nilf, you're perfectly reasonable about this. It's possible that Tali and Kal or some other quarian might develop a relationship over a very long time. It's mainly some of the folks of dA making fanart (and an RP on FaceBook, apparantly) with the two that has severely fueled my hate of a possible Kal/Tali relationship.
They seem to assume that Tali's always had a crush on Kal and that Shepard's just a surrogate of sorts.
When trying to explain how horribly out of character this is, they retort by saying it's the same as Shepard being able to romance different people too. ("That's like me proclaiming that all people who ship JacobXFemshep are wrong because I ship GarrusXfemshep." These people also compare Talimancers to Twilight fanatics going "Team Edward", etc.)

Yeah, I'm not one to rage very quickly over fictional characters, but the people supporting this stuff are very infuriating.

Anyway, enough of this stuff.
Just a quick question, what'd you like Tali's skin colour to be?
I'd prefer pure white, I guess; with the entire quarian skin colour range ranging from that to dark grey.

I dont see Tali and Kal as an item really.

Kal seems to view her as his boss, and someone to respect not a person he is interested in.

Overall they just seem very friendly, but not in the IWUVu sense though.

If I had to peg the Quarian skin tone, I would be very pale really.

I think grays would look good, ranging from a light gray to slate gray. Darker grays would look totally awesome if their eyes actually glow

I know how you feel man, I saw some sick Legion smut story where the author was going off about it being "Romeo and Juliet".

Quarians would probably have some sort of melanin analogue, but 300 years isn't enough for radical change is it? Grey would work, I'd like a light red myself.

Shepard is the most boring man in the galaxy. What Tali sees in him I have no idea.

Heroism.  Acceptance.  Support.

Probably other stuff, too.  But from her dialogue, those.

I do believe those three main items you listed NuclearBuddha cover most of her reasons quite well.  Though I would change the order somewhat putting Acceptance first and Heroism last.  :)

My list was no particular order.  You know what, actually it was:  chronological order.

I agree, Shepard is pretty much the dashing hero of legend, who commands the best ship in the galaxy, and who treats Tali like an person.

So yes its quite obvious to me at least why shep likes Tali,

I want Tali's skin to just be pitch-black like a polar bear's under their fur.

Confuse the **** out of everyone.

edit: Also it pisses me off when someone compares a romance between ****ing Romeo and Juliet. THAT IS NOT A GOOD ROMANCE EVER!

Ok, no worries. I can understand how silly attitudes can irritate people, it's fair enough. Tali herself has been a victim of this kind of thing. It's a bit of a shame. But yeah, best to leave it at that.

Anyways, skin colour. I'm thinking a pale colour to go with the fact that quarians are stuck inside their suits all the time. Pale grey is how I envision it, but something more exotic like pale purple or pale blue could also work.

EDIT: Wow, lots of posts saying the same thing while I was typing this, lol.

Judging how popular Ms. Vas Normandy is with the fanbase it isn't hard to imagine gamewise that there is a long line of potential Quarian suitors who are pretty pissed that a Human scored one of the migrant fleet's most wanted bachelorettes.

I really wonder if this is case.  I mean, it's the admiral's daughter.  I think that she almost holds herself apart in her devotion to the Flotilla.

Both Shep and Shala make the comparison that she's more like her father than she'd like to believe.

Tali leaving to have a relationship with Shepard means one less healthy quarian in the breeding population. So I can see some bitterness from some more xenophobic quarians.

No furries. I'd rather see the qurians with scales, even if neither of them is preferable.

Actually, that'd look pretty damned cool. Especially if they've got some heavy contrast in there somewhere. (Like the eyes, or white hair (/tendrils/w.e.), something like that.)

I'm not a huge fan of the general "she's purple" thing, mainly because it's so hugely cliché by now. And because people are starting to advertise it as fact.

Black Tali is a-okay in my Shepard's book.
I suspect the comparison is made by people who've never read it.

Both Shep and Shala make the comparison that she's more like her father than she'd like to believe.

I'd guess Rael drilled it into her to avoid all relationships "for the good of the Flotilla", with the intention of arranging a marriage for her when it was time for breeding.

I think her skin should be grey since her skin nor from any other Quarian ever felt light of Sun.

I've always thought it was just a choice by the artists when they drew quarians with bare skin.

Didn't think people were that stupid. Would allow for interesting skin colors, but in the end it'd look silly.

Actually, yeah, a dark skin colour could also work. Especially as a contrast with her eyes, as has been said.

Didn't notice that. Totally agree though. To this day, I don't know why Romeo and Juliet are supposed to be the epitome of love stories.
