Omni-tool backup, maybe? She has one of those small chips under her skin? I dunno.
I'd say she's like everyone else in ME and has translator cybernetics

For her to go from wanting to destroy the geth to being friends with a mobile platform would take some magical character development. I think the resolution of their fight with a successful charm/intimidate is all you're gonna get.Kikaimegami wrote...
Sorry man, but I want to see Tali and Legion become best buds and do fistbumps and stuff in ME3 :crosses arms:
Besides, they're my "go to" team most of the time. My Shepard is going to make them like each other, damnit.

Yikes, I come back from dinner and see this.NuclearBuddha wrote...
There's much less of a mentor/student relationship w/ Tali than there was w/ Garrus.
In terms of personality changes, I could see her opinion on the geth being changed slightly by Shepard. She wouldn't likely become friendly with the geth, but civil.

Why do I have this sudden desire to start sending awesome 80's rock to Tali's cybernetics?

I doubt the translator is in her helmet. Perhaps the cybernetics embedded in her body.Volrath937 wrote...
Buddha, you mentioned earlier that Tali's translator is in her helmet right? Wouldn't that imply Tali can't understand a word Shepard says when the helmets off?
Enough to take her mask off? I agree with you that too many paint her as a pushover. All I need to remind me of her battle sense is to play a mission with her and hear her yell "want some more?". Geth shotgun ftwRunescapeguy9 wrote...
She definitely has some renegade in her. The only time she really lets her guard down is the romance. I hate when people judge her entire character on just it. She isn't a pushover. She just is comfortable enough around Shepard to... I don't know how to describe it in words.Wolf Warden wrote...
I guess you are right, Garrus is way more 'moldable' than Tali. Guess it comes from being an Admiral's daughter. Her mean streak is fun to see (Volus!) and I hope they explore it further.Runescapeguy9 wrote...
I see her leaning slightly on the renegade side either way Shepard behaves. She's remarkably steadfast in her own ways, she doesn't even back down to Shepard in arguments.Wolf Warden wrote...
How about we discuss if Tali will change in personallity like Garrus did. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Will she "harden" like Lelianna in DA:O or will she stay the same?

Yes. She isn't some flower. She has a shotgun :innocent:Wolf Warden wrote...

Could be, but her helmet would make more sence. The cerbernetic implant would need to reach her brain for her to comprehend. Everyone must have some form of a babblefish in their ear.
I`d like to know what food and drink (asides water) could both Tali and Shepard could eat that wouldn`t make both violently ill.

Don't need a translator for kissing...
Yeah.
Best way to teach French is through their native language.
Tongue battles.

Well seeing as how academies on earth teach humans alien languages, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Tali to have some private lessons with Shepard.

coffeemug: Thundertactics over on Clan Z went into a very detailed scientific explanation of dextro amino-acid based foodstuffs. Most non-protein heavy foods would be safe was the consensus I believe.
On earth we already eat many dextro amino-acid based foods, grapes for instance. The opposite would likely hold true for Tali.

Oha, thread is back. Hey.
So about that DLC, I bet when you read that Tali dossier and the plans the SB had for Tali you were much more pleased with having killed that guy..^^ Or am I wrong here?

Lemme say I'm rather pleased to see the Tali thread back. Best of luck to you all from a Garrus fan! Can't have Garrus without Tali!
Question, though, are you going to keep it a strictly Tali thread or Tali + other Quarians thread?

Tali speaking Khelish would be amazing. And a chance to learn culture, of courseSirEmilCrane wrote...
I wonder what quarian sounds like... or any of the languages for that matter.

It would seem that you reaped another meaning from what I typed, nowhere in that post did I say they would be doing something other than studying. As for the smiley, it would be a happy/decent thing for Shepard to learn a new language and expand his horizons.
I'm not knowledgeable enough on the subject to speak with certainty, but most things would probably be ok. Wine of course, it's based on a dextro-amino fruit!coffeemugjeff wrote...
In Me 2 they really make is sound like Tali would die if she would ingest any human food and vice versa. If she can eat most proteint free food then it`s not a major issue. Shapard could even serve her wine.
