From that conversation before he accepted Legion into the crew you can hear him being quite firm and direct, with a hit of maybe anger, or displeasure, with a bit of worry. After the conversation he hides it, I bet it is still in the back of his mind. Just like anyone keeps their worries in the back of their mind when encountering something or someone new, or even after a major event that leaves doubts.

Shepard himself seems curious and also a little hesitain with Legion at first, but I don't think he fully trusts him by the end of ME2.

Well, there's the thing, you wouldn''t get that from the game. It basically goes "We don't like the Reapers either." "Okie doke, welcome to the team!"

That was a bit of immersion breakage, because I can't buy Shepard, even Paragon Shepard, being that quick to extend that sort of invitation to an unknown element such as Legion.

Exactly, it just glosses over all of Shepard's prior experience with the Geth in ME1 and parts of ME2 and then continues the insult with Tali having only slight reservations of having an active Geth watching her back. It's seems pretty naive to me and  over-exaggerates the old adage "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

I agree. It felt like Legion and the "true geth" thing was pushed on us way too fast. It's at least understandable that Shepard, as a relatively naive person, would trust Legion right off the bat. But for Tali to ignore all the horrible things she had ever heard and seen the geth do, just because Shepard passed a conversation check, felt out of character.

That is the thing, Shepard Might trust him as far as this conversation goes but likely keeps it end mind that Legion could be still lieing to him or only telling half truths. You never want to openly admitt to someone or something in this case you don't fully trust them, you want to keep them guess and off balance, incase they are planning a back stab later. If they do try something sence you kept it secret you do really trust him as far as you can trow him, it might likely throw them a little off balance when you react quicker to the situation then entisipated. Also Legion did have a chance to kill the crew on the derilect reaper, but it can easily be said he calulated his chances of getting off and found it to be favorable to help Shepard.

Shadow: We need to keep all conversations Tali related.

How well would Tali get along with the rest of the crew (besides Legion)?

Well if you tell her to let go of her Homeworld and then tell her to get it back she goes over reasons on why she thinks it is impossible.

Not impossible extremely difficult perhaps and then she says something along the lines of wondering whether it is worth it or not . Then you can Renegade and say something like of course its worth it and never give up if you do that means the geth win. Then Talis like you're rite shepard lets go kick some ass.

Was tieing off my prior post due to no one seemingly understood what I posted. So I propose we go with your topic.

Tali likely see Miranda definitly as a rivial for Shepard, but before her loyality mission she wasn't likely to act on her feelings to Shepard. Afterwards and considering what Shepard had said during her loyalty mission she decided to test the waters as we have seen. Before that however those two may have not been on the best of terms but will work to get things done due to Shepard.

As Jacob she might trust him a little more but, likely a little angry at him about "Don't forget to introduce yourself to EDI the ships new AI."

Mordin seems the likeable guy if your not trying to anger him or extort him, so she is likely ok with him, though not likely to bump into him all that much.

Garrus well due to their previous work together she is likely happy to see him again, even with the stupid comment on the Citadel.

Grunt likely scares her to much but likely reminds her of Wrex, just not as big.

Gabby, Ken, and Kasumi are probably good friends with her

Tali and Jacob got off to a bumpy start. But I can see her feeling bad for him after his horrible daddy issues come to light.

True, to true. However it seems, that alot of the crew has Daddy issue. Possible bonding point for the whole crew maybe?

I figure she probably went to Mordin for advice on how to prepare for her night with Shepard, so she'd see him as a friendly doctor at least. Kasumi's her gal-pal apparently, and Ken & Gabby are probably her work buddies.

Tali might not trust EDI, but EDI likely trust Tali to do her job on repairs. I know I would.

Well, I can see Tali getting along with Garrus, since they've worked together, Gabby and Ken of course. You could probably add Mordin to that (Where do you think she got the anti-biotics?) Hmm... Zaeed is probably neutral... no one likes or hates him.. he's just that creepy guy near the trash compactor... She's probably on good terms with Samara and Thane and Grunt as well. Jacob is probably neutral as well. The only people I can see her not getting along with are Jack and Miranda. She kinda has to get used to Legion and EDI as time progresses.

I loved the whole Tali, Gabby, and Ken playing poker with Shepard. I can imagine them sitting around the table talking tech and Shepard eyes glazing over.

Sometimes I confuse Kasumi with Tali all she is missing is the mask. I take Kasumi to Tali's loyatly mission and Kasumi blends in nicely with the other Quarians.

Yeah, that little detail made the game feel more fleshed out.

My manshep is an engineer. He should know as much about engines as Tali!

Shepard is a combat engineer, Tali is a ship mechanic, i don't think they're quite on the same level. Still that conversation would be awesome.

So... the discussion comes down to ship combat engineering?

Well what i mean is that Shepard's engineering skill is in hacking shields and disabling weapons. Drones and incineration and overloading. (oh my)

Tali can do all that too, but she also knows how to keep a ship running with ezo and duct tape.

Their skills are in different fields.

Tali having incineration blast or cyro would have been a lot more useful than AI hacking.

So, I was playing ME2 with a new Infiltrator, and when I got to Omega, I was thinking, "Is there any unique chat for Tali if you wait to talk to Kenn (the quarian) when you have her with you? Cause I'm always too impatient, and I feel the need to help the guy.
