Wow, she really does drop it:

She still sounds adorable though.

I love how she switches tone between the two opinions, or personalities, if you will.Posted Image

She also drops it during the conversation with Sovereign on Virmire.

Also, take Tali to Therum, and drive the Mako to the geth encampment. When she tells you that it'd be a good idea to drive around to the back of the encampment, her voices sounds completely different, as if they forget to apply the flanging effect.

ME1 Tali needs some counseling, doesn't she?

Its funny how different ME1 Tali sounds from ME2 Tali. Her voice actress obviously got a lot more skilled.

Liz did a much better job in the second game. I look forward to hearing her performance in ME3.

She probably had a lot better voice direction in Mass Effect 2. Because there was a lot of ****ty voice acting in the first game from nearly every charcter.

This is a good point as well. I agree. I'm sure every character will blow us away in ME3. I just cant ****ing wait. Going crazy here. I need Dead Space 2... then Gears 3 to hold me over or I'll go insane.

Sorry for diverging.

Hmmm. I noticed that Tali has the same "swirly" patten on her hood in Mass Effect.

Neato.

Liz can keep the current voice. Doesn't sound like she's trying to work in an accent or overemphasize anything. And the way she shows emotions through her voice is just amazing.

I noticed that for the first time myself a bit ago. I never even realized there was a pattern on it at all, for whatever reason. :pinched:

Yeah, they really hit the jackpot when they got Liz. Tali could have easily been a crappy character we couldn't relate to if she didn't have a voice actor that could emote so good.

It always takes a good, actor, in this case a good voice actor to protait the character. But it also takes a good director to bring out the good physical acting as well. In this case a good team of animators. So both Liz's work the the fellas that animated tali did a really really good job making the Character who she is.

By the way.....

It looks like Tali is now in Charge of Mothership Zeta.

The Mothership Zeta aliens probably didn't know what hit them.

They were tough, but no one is faster the Chiktikka vas Paus.

Indeed. I was happy with her ME2 preformance though, so maybe it will stay the course.

I liked her in ME1, too, but I see what you mean. And that scene with her father really tore at my heartstrings. I wonder how that would have sounded with her ME1 acting.

Let's focus on what is and be thankful for it, rather than what is not and wonder.

Tali finding her father is probably the moment where she became one of my favorite characters. That scene really showed off how talented her voice actress is.

That was possibly one of the saddest scenes I have ever seen in Mass Effect. Makes you really connect to her.

Common scene in many people's lives. You can feel for her. That's why you must be insane NOT to hug her.

True. I can sympathize and relate to Tali way more than I can to the other LIs.
