So it's pretty obvious that Tali is going to be in ME3, huh?

Tali is more connected to the overall plot than most of the people you recruit in Mass Effect. With Mordin and Legion (his loyalty mission anyway) following behind her.

I see all the ME2 characters coming back. Half are love intrests, and the ones who arnt are vital to the story.
Samara and Grunt are the only ones I can see not returning. Really just Samara.
The bigger question for me is who will be the Shepards right and left hand. It better be Tali and Garrus this time.

I think it's become natural for us to love Tali and Garrus. Just great characters. Im so tired of Garrus calibrating though.

Tali finding her father is probably the moment where she became one of my favorite characters. That scene really showed off how talented her voice actress is.

That was possibly one of the saddest scenes I have ever seen in Mass Effect. Makes you really connect to her.

Definitely one of the greatest Tali moments ever. Heck, dramatically, I probably top-rank it in all of ME history!

Right after that scene, Tali (quoting from memory; don't shoot me) says something like: "Well, maybe he didn't care; but I care!"

Tali, vulnerable and strong at the same time. You have to be insane not to love her!

Yeah, how long does it take to callibrate them, it's not like they're in constant use...
but cleaning the engine is more important so Tali is allowed that..

She still has time to come up to my cabin. Maybe Garrus just gets fed up with you.

To keep this Tali related, I think we do have a good chance of seeing both her and Garrus back in ME3.  I posted a wall of text about it some time ago in Clan Z.  And I would love for Tali and Garrus to become male and female "leads" in ME3 sorta like Miranda and Jacob in ME2.  I don't think this will happen, but it would not be possible to quantify how much I would love it if it did happen.  In the meantime, they both need about a 50-100% increase in the amount of dialog they have.  Especially Garrus.  He has very little to say if you don't romance him, and really not much more to say even if you do.

By "leads", do you mean like a guide to take the player through the early hours? I'd like that.

And I agree that Garrus is in desperate need of more dialogues.

I agree whole heartedly, they cant make this mistake again. Garrus and Tali have been there the longest, they need to be your "leads."
And they need to talk to one another. Bioware has some of the best writers i've ever seen in a game company, use their skill. Give us real, Dragon Age style squad conversations.

Garrus is always borrowing my copy of DA:O without asking!!! Anyways, I agree, they should be the leads, if ME3 is gonna be the end, you might as well go out big, and it's been made obvious that Tali and Garrus are the two most popular squad mates. Squad mates talking to each other like in DA:O would be awesome, and I'd love to have a lot more dialogue than I did in ME2.

Yea, something like that.  Or else you know how Jacob and Miranda constantly show up for various little scenes in ME2?  Have it be Tali and Garrus instead.  That's what I mean.  Again, I don't think this will actually happen.  I just really wish it would.

Not to mention that they've made us wait a good hour to get Garrus in both games, one in ME1 for Tali, and quite a few for Tali again in ME2

Edit: Don't bait us, give us the good stuff at the start.

Why is Tali usually depicted as being purple? Is there some particular reason behind that?

And why is Shep always messing with a datapad when he should be focusing on Tali?

It's the old "her mask is purple, so her skin must be purple too" mentality.

Does it really matter? As long as it Tali. Shepard has his focus on the wrong thing though.

Edit: PUT DOWN THE DATA PAD!

Yeah, that would be a better way to get my attention. I want to know what the rest of the crew is thinking. I honestly didn't care about Jacob and Miranda's opinions after a while, because they were so predictable, and it was always that boring "you should be careful, it can be dangerous." whine all the time.

Bring in Tali and Garrus and let's hear what they think about the stuff that's going on.

Lol be kinda awesome to hear Tali start talking about you like in DA:O.  They'd just start talking. When you're RIGHT there. Very Interesting..... Veeerrryyyy Intterresting... But I want the opinions of who I want. Garrus and Tali's opinions are important, they have such an impact with Shepard. Jacob and Miranda, about as reactive as a warm glass of water.

I just thought it was sort of silly that every new squad member was obligated to get into some kind of minor disagreement with either Miranda or Jacob. It got really annoying. It made my wonder why Shep kept letting them show up there when they would consistently say dumb things. I like the way the handled Kaidan and Ashley much better. If I want their opinion I have the option to ask for it. They don't parade it around even if it has 0 relevance on the topic at hand.

Well... they ARE Cerberus... I kinda just supposed they get a bonus for it...

Anyways, Do you think Bioware/Tali would go into detail about the Cerberus attack on the flotilla?
