Or, she could use her knife, jam it into the enemy, and then use Overload with her omni-tool while she's holding the knife with the same hand. Like a...less sophisticated version of Shadow Strike.![]()

I can understand the idea of Tali being ready as much as she possibly can. I wouldn't expect much less.Ragabul the Ontarah wrote...
I agree that Tali definitely needs to stab something at least once. Maybe a geth hunter, right in its flashlight eye if she could do it without getting electrocuted. Maybe she just uses that thing as a tool for various mechanical stuff. I mean do we know it's a knife as in a large bowie type knife? Maybe she has like a deluxe swiss army knife with 18 different useful attachments in that scabbard.

AI Hacking also makes sense from that perspective, but it's really not useful...I'd be happy if they either gave Tali a more useful option in ME3, or somehow improved AI Hacking. Or maybe make synthetic enemies less prone to be destroyed in seconds.
Also, something odd I noticed while doing Legion's LM earlier: I brought Tali along, and she commented that she "didn't know geth built stations this large". But...the geth didn't build that station. The quarians did.

I'm not sure on that bit, Considering it's been a few centuries since the Quarians have built/seen their stations. It's tragic how Tali can't notice her people's work. Also, Maybe Legion doesn't think it's important who built it, he probably just views it as another station.Nilfalasiel wrote...
Yeah, I was surprised that Tali didn't have Overload in ME2. If it makes sense for any squaddie, it's definitely for her. Then again, Heavy Energy Drain is almost as damaging as Heavy Overload: Heavy Overload one-shots geth, Heavy Energy Drain leaves them with a sliver of health AND restores Tali's shields. Given the emphasis on her shields in ME1, I thought it was a very appropriate power for her to have.

The quarians did.Even if Tali didn't know that, wouldn't she have recognized her people's handicraft? And why didn't Legion correct her when she said that? Because I'm sure it knew the geth hadn't built the station.

That's good, I didn't think of that. Quarians probably didn't build 347 geth stations on there. The circuitry and all on the ground is new probably. Geth probably weren't on the station orginally.Someone With Mass wrote...
Maybe the geth extended the size of the station to suit their needs. At least it looks that way, judging by the design.
Edit: Not to mention that the quarians stripped the station of it's resources as they left.

I was so confused when I saw that... Maybe the quarians forgot itRagabul the Ontarah wrote...
The real question is why the geth keep medi-gel kits lying around the station.
Quarian #1: What about these medi-gels?
Quarian #2: We had to make room for all the power cells for the turrets?
Quarian #1: What about the turrets!?
Quarian #2: Pfft, like anyone is ever going to use those.

I dunno. She has been to Haestrom, and that also has ancient quarian architecture. If anything, she might've been able to make a parallel between what she saw there and that station.
Although it is a good point that the quarians stripped the station as they left. There's definitely plenty of geth stuff in there. I'm not sure whether the geth added to the outside structure of the place though: it looks pretty homogenous from the outside.
The medigel is definitely much harder to justify. Even if the quarians had left it behind when they abandoned the station, would it still be good to use after all this time? Does medigel go off, I wonder?

Not to mention that medi-gel wasn't even invented when the quarians fled. It was invented by the human company Sirta Foundation.

Also, do you figure Tali chose to join the crew of the Neema specifically because it was the ship Han served on? Like her dad was sending her off but to someplace where there was still somebody he knew could keep an eye out for her?

I agree with that. He figured Tali needed someone to watch her cause he never did a good job himself. Also, the Reaper-Human doesn't bug you? Not even the fact that they could've made goo out of all your friends?Ragabul the Ontarah wrote...

That sounds like a reasoning Rael could have, but not necessarily one Tali would have. Don't think she would automatically choose the Neema just because a friend of her dad's was on there. Especially since she never seemed very close to her dad. Still, she could've figured it was better to go on a ship where she knew someone, rather than one where everyone was a stranger. But in that case, I would've seen her picking the Tonbay because Shala was on it. She definitely seemed to be more friendly with Shala than with Han.
