I saw someone who vehemently hated Tali "reinterpret" quarians with lamprey suckers instead of mouths. That was the stuff of nightmares. I must admit if that turned out to be Tali's face, I'd reconsider.

Fortunately, we all know she's got a normal mouth under there.

I think "volus" is both the singular and the plural. Just like "krogan" or "elcor".

Nah, that's just silly.

I say she sign up with one of the two Kowloon-class merchantmen purchased by the Migrant Fleet from the Alliance-- the MSV Selene or the MSV Tracts of Land.^_^

I agree with that. He figured Tali needed someone to watch her cause he never did a good job himself. Also, the Reaper-Human doesn't bug you? Not even the fact that they could've made goo out of all your friends?

Pretty much.  I'm a souless **** who doesn't feel compassion that often.  I was pretty "meh" about David in Overlord too so it really amazed me that people were going on and on about how powerful that was or whatever.  I still take the paragon option because the renegade option is nonsensical.  David had nothing to do with it.  And I meant the Reaper goo thing more as a potential plothole.  I've actually found a sorta kinda workable solution for why it doesn't have to be a plothole.  The geth medi-gel thing...not so much.

Also, I don't really want DLC for any other ME squaddies except maybe the VS. Tali and Garrus are worth waiting for in fully realized game form.

Oh well I dont care about David, I saved his ass cause it was all Archer's fault (And TIM... that SoB)
Goo is still kinda sick though. It's like the reaper baby is getting a bottle of human mush... omnomnomnom...
Medi-gel is still confusing.

Do you guys think they should add/remove something special to/from Tali's AA outfit?

I'd like her suit to be a bit more armored looking.

Yeah I prefer a bit of armor, but nothing that makes her look odd or out of place

Is Tali getting an AA outfit? I never thought she was a strong candidate for that personally. What she has just fits her so well.

Curious, is the general concensus in this Tali thread that she looks like a nightelf?

If so that makes me sadface.

I never came to that conclusion. I always figured we were all saying Tali looks like a quarian. Like hell she's a night elf, I dont see any rideable tigers do you?
Dont answer that.

I'm not sure she has "elf ears". Those could easily be equipment.

Then again, maybe I'm wrong. We won't know until ME3.

I've only met one person who unironically liked that picture. Most people I've met around here just want her to have an unique alien look like the drell/turians.

I was under the impression that quarians didn't have anything that recognizably looked like ears (from the books). That would mean no elf ears, but something that looks more unique. Maybe just a small opening, like salarians have.

But yeah, I think most people here actually dislike the nightelf idea.

Back to Tali. Do you think her powers should be a little more...aggressive in ME3?

Hell yes! TAli kicked so much more ass in ME1 than 2 half the time if she agroed the enemy first there would only be half of them left for me and Garrus to take out, especially at higher levels when you get all her techpower maxed out, she use dampning, sabatoge, and over load in conjunction, practicly anyone caught in the destructive zone is dead, or mostly dead/incapacitated this was also balanced out in the game by have a whole lot more enemies you could encounter at once than it seemed in ME2.

Off topic: I would also like to see them bring back the efectiveness of biotics, I could concievably understand shields or barriers offering protection from a biotic attack se you could say the opposing ME fields cancel each other out or something, but Armor come on how is have a hard suit going to keep an Adept from flinging you across the room?

It just says "what passed for the quarian version of an ear."

That could mean anything.
But I really hope they have something a little original as ears.

They should definately beef up some of Tali's powers, or at least add more or replace some. She could definately use Overload. Tali should have a power to accompany her shotgun prowress as well (Not sure what)

P.S. to the Off topic: I miss flinging people off of ledges. A hardsuit shouldnt protect you from me.

I want Tali to have a unique power which isn't her loyalty power, like Kasumi's Shadow Strike.

That's what I miss. When everyone has the same powers, it feels boring.

Tali should really be more of a debuffer than a straight out and out fighter. She wasn't really recruited by Shepard for her combat abilities afterall.

Maybe something like sabotage in Mass Effect. Someone that disables weapons like flashbangs does in ME2.

To me, that sounds like the onlooker (who's presumably human?) wouldn't have recognized it as an ear if they didn't know that quarians considered them as such.

And an elf ear would still look recognizably like an ear.

Guess I'm just trying to find a justification for non-elf ears. Posted Image

It would be nice to have a straight-up "overheat" skill again.  And Tali'd be a natural choice.
