So you're saying that being attracted to the mundane is human nature? People in general are attracted to novelty. To some people it ADDS to the attraction towards Tali, to some it doesn't. I'm not saying it's THE main reason.

The way you worded it did. Apologies.

I think their going to keep the eyes they used in ME2 for Tali's eye shape and size, its the only facual feature we can actually see. Also I am alright with her being more like the girl next door look not Super Model or some Magna look.

Agreed, there's already a supermodel race on this galaxy

Yeah. The whole "every female must look like the hottest chick in the galaxy" deal got old really fast.

Just make her face somewhat casual, and I'm good.

Just jumping in here, but I think quarians in general would have more delicate, human features, which would also fit the smaller human-like build they have.

however, this doesn't fit with Grunt's comment about quarians being less squishy.

You do have a point, but I would think that they aren't like near clones of humans, I would suppose that they'd look alien to at least an extent.

He was talking about how easy it would be to stab them. This factors in the average wear of species. Humans? Clothes. Turians? Armour. Quarians? Envirosuits.

Tali has much less of a human like build than say the asari or even drell.
Her stance, pelvis forward, small upper body, recurved shins. There is alot that is non-human about her and her race.  Her face, can be closer to us than some would imagine.  At least I would like that.

Her face could be very close to human, and probably will be closer than I'd like, but I don't see how an alien body is an excuse for a human face. Logically, the more alien the body is the more alien the face would be.

I don't know why I bring logic to a discussion of fictional aliens though.

Mentioning logic in anything BW has done is pushing it.
My statement was that Tali and her race already exhibit plenty of non-human traits.  To demand a face that only an elcor could love is silly to me.  Shepard has already seen AND kissed her.  Had Tali been anything other than pleasing to his eyes, I do not believe it would have gone off the way the love scene did.
And I said pleasing, not drop dead, OMG!, fantastically gorgeous.  Even some of  HR Giger's female forms were exceptionally pleasing to the eye.

Agreed. But strong alien features =/= aesthetically unpleasing.

Grunt's comment must be open to interpretation then because I didn't think he was taking the average wear of a species into account since he doesn't mention the average wear of a species in his comment.

Thane managed to look alien and somewhat pleasing on the eyes. So I'd like Tali and the quarians to be at least drell level quality of alien.

Well he IS a krogan, so I'm expecting him to have this opinion as if they were all naked at the time of the inspection.

Lucky Krogan.

And with all the asari and krogan that live 1000+ years you'd think one could have info on what quarians look like lol.

Bioware: Paying off fictional characters to button their lips so its a suprise in ME3.

Everyone in the Mass Effect universe knows what quarians look like (despite what Aethytha says) just the player doesn't because Bioware is trollin'

What if Quarians had some kind of natural flexible armor plating? Not as strong as a Turian, not scales like the Drell (at least I think they're scales) and not squishy pink stuff like humans, something different from all.
I always imagined Quarians to be way more flexible and speedy than other reaces.
Krogan: HULK SMASH HERP DERP
Turian: Armor plating but with unarmored joints for slightly more flexibility. Females with MUCH more flexible with males having longer limbs (reach).
Human: Unarmored naturally but flexible and somewhat fast moving.
Asari: Similar to humans but with less duarbility countered by long lifespans.
Volus: Baloons to be popped.
Elcor: Elephants. Spacefareing, slow, strong and diplomatic elephants.
Drell: Speedy with a thin layer of scales over their flesh. Beware of chafing.
Quarians: Flexible armor (Non-neutonian liquid/armor?)(Just hardened skin?) around body, fades to skin around joints and flex zones for mobility. Bones less hardened like most races but very flexible (hold less weight as human but able to withstand a stronger sideways force more like getting kicked in the shin). Flesh may consist of a different makeup than what the rest of the galaxy appears to be made of. Or they may have a different bone structure entirely. I remember seeing Tali walk at one point that made me think she needed to change her pants as she was waling with a slight waddle, may be evidence of constricting armor or bone structure).

Meh, I'm sure when Bioware eventually shows us we'll be able to get a better picture of what they look like.

So... did anyone else notice the waddle and/or question it? I think it was during an on ship conversation, I think its the one where she tells you about her loyalty mission.

What an awesome picture.  It's odd I would find a female version of Darth Vader appealing. It's definately her voice that draws me in and as Ken pointed out  " Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful bucket; The whole suit is lovely. Quite snug is all the right places."

Yes. Probably just the shape of her legs, because apparently the walking animations are all the same among bipeds, except krogan iirc.
