The quarian fleet may be large but it is really not that big of a threat. A lot of those ships are 300 years old and barely work anymore.
Quarians are weak for standard military open war, even Kal'Reegar admited that to Shep. They may have big fleet (by the number of ships) but that doesn't mean they are ready for war.
Think about what you are saying, quarians vs. (humans + turians +asari + salarians), what is the probability of survival for quarians? quarians even didn't manage to launch a succesful counterstrike againts geth who took control of Alarei...

Why doesn't Garrus give me bro talks? Lol
You should be able to just make random small talk with Tali, though. Zaeed and Kasumi are good models for it, but it would definitely have to be more detailed/integrated IMO.
Legion kinda had a bro talk with Shepard, saying something about having superior code. Doubt Legion would tell anyone else that. Random small talk would be nice, maybe akin to the teasing if Tali was brought along during Mordin's loyalty, or more of integration into the random small assignments like the missing credit chit.

Anyone notice that despite Cerberus history, the only one on board to have ever said something nasty to Tali is Jacob?
I was surprised to say the least.
I remember i once thought of writing a story about Miranda horribly insulting Tali. And shepard removes her biotic amp and makes locks her in a room with Jack.

I blame Bioware for making such wonderfully, possibly evil characters lol.
Dont mean to off put you however, it's all in good fun.
Anyways, Back to Tali..
Just wondering from anyone's perspective, how do you think Tali will be introduced in ME3?

But seriously, if you romanced her, one of the first things you should hear is some remark from one of your crew about Shepard's relationship with her. Like, "so...you and Tali, huh? Never saw that one coming..."

I'm expecting her to still be on the ship with you, but I doubt Bioware would make it that easy, and leave you with your favorite characters (Garrus and Tali, you know it's true). I can hope though, I still got that chance :happy:Redcoat wrote...
If it picks up right after the second game, I imagine she'd still be on the Normandy. Then she'd immediately get killed, and everyone at BioWare laughs at how epically they have trolled the fanbase.

But i am sure Tali can handle it herself, "I have a shotgun" and Garrus backed down more than a scared cat.

She's grown up alot since ME1, standing up to Shepard on the Alarei when his/her differences of opinion are made. She isn't afraid to voice her concerns that's for sure. One could say she adopted and tried to emulate some of that assertiveness/confidence Shepard had sometime after the SR1 was destroyed.

Neh, she will not die because she is a romance option and if you romance her in ME2, someone else in ME1, I am fully expecting a cat fight showdown between Tali and whoever.Redcoat wrote...

Agreed, but i do beleive that she would be hurt more then anyone else should Shepard be unfaithful to her.Eldareus wrote...
Tali doesn't strike me as the jeoulous or overly possessive type character, so I am not sure she would even get into a cat fight. She'll probably trust Shepard to talk the previous LI into accepting the change of status.
Edit: sorry that didnt really apply to the debate did it?

She continually says "I understand if you need to find something... someone else" so I'm not too sure either.Eldareus wrote...
My first thought was Tali would be totally devasted if you are unfaithful to her due to her being a person who believes in duty, loyalty, and selflessness and the fact that Shepard is her first romantic love. But I think Tali is also aware of the hardships and difficulites a relationship with a Quarian might be for the non-quarian partner. Her enviro-suit and poor immunity is a major obstacle for any non-quarion to overcome. So I'm not really sure how she would react. Maybe very sad at first then understanding, or maybe very devasted and then extremely pissed off.
Is she saying that for the characters benefit? Or is she really understanding?
I'd be inclined to believe that, at the consecration (Right before the Omega-4 Relay suicide mission) it's sort of set in stone and if you do anything unfaithful, she would be annoyed. Perhaps, as you said "extremely pissed off."
Though, due to her apparent understanding nature, she might not be either, kinda hard to tell. I wouldn't risk it anyway.

This would be a great point if it didn't rely upon trusting Cerberus more than the Migrant Fleet.Shandepared wrote...
There are perfectly good reasons to take Veetor. We need more than omni-tool readings, we need to know how the attack started exactly. Did Veetor see a ship? Did the Collectors search for him? How did he hide?
Trusting the Migrant Fleet to inform Cerberus if they uncover something is a huge leap of faith. I trust Tali, but I don't trust her superiors.
Trusting. Cerberus.
Let that percolate a little.

The idea of getting relationship advice from her is hilarious. I can see her talking about dating on the Flotilla, and quarian courthsip and how you just can't get any privacy or something else half d'aaaaawww-inducing/half heartbreaking. She'd start out with advice and all the sudden it would be codex-mode engaged! Very Tali, in other words.Alexine wrote...
If BW had included some more Tali friendship dialogue, what would you liked to have? Tali's probably on the same level as Garrus having the lack of dialogue if you didn't want to romance her (she's a bit better than Garrus, since she appeared during Freedom's Progress and have some other dialogue if you mod her in the early stages of the game.
Personally, I would like some friendly banter of some sorts if you decide not to romance her. I think that Tali could be a good character to talk about your current romance options, since I do imagine her to be someone to easily talk about matters such as romance and falling outs.
Also: stories of an ongoing prank war between her and Garrus.
