And yet, Tali still trusted Shepard enough to jump into a Cerberus vessel, with a Cerberus crew, purely because Shepard asked her to.
Basically, Tali proved herself as a friend to Shepard when he needed it the most. Ashley didn't.
Being a good friend means never ever critisizing them, huh? Ashley and Kaidan had good reason not to jump on the Shepard bandwagon this time. That Tali and Garrus are willing to throw it all away, Tali especially, is in some ways a fault.
Ashley and Kaiden aren't bad characters, they're just victims of bad writing.
Only victims of bad writing in ME2Horizon could have been something good, i'm glad Ash/Kaidan didn't agree with Shepard, but Bioware realy made a mess of it all, it should have been better, why does Shepard only say ''its been to long''? Biowares writing on Horizon was so horrendous it made poor Ashley go cross eyed
In ME1, the writing for Ash and Kaidan was superb though, hopefully they will bring back that magic in ME3, and hopefully dlc.
Horizon was what I was picking at.
Kaidan's like, a bro, and Ashleys certainly a great character, when you get past her deal with aliens. She's definitely second place in terms of LI's to me.
Getting off track, must continue Tali discussion for sake of thread.
