And yet, Tali still trusted Shepard enough to jump into a Cerberus vessel, with a Cerberus crew, purely because Shepard asked her to.

Basically, Tali proved herself as a friend to Shepard when he needed it the most. Ashley didn't.

Being a good friend means never ever critisizing them, huh? Ashley and Kaidan had good reason not to jump on the Shepard bandwagon this time. That Tali and Garrus are willing to throw it all away, Tali especially, is in some ways a fault.

Ashley and Kaiden aren't bad characters, they're just victims of bad writing.

Only victims of bad writing in ME2 Posted Image Horizon could have been something good, i'm glad Ash/Kaidan didn't agree with Shepard, but Bioware realy made a mess of it all, it should have been better, why does Shepard only say ''its been to long''? Biowares writing on Horizon was so horrendous it made poor Ashley go cross eyed Posted Image

In ME1, the writing for Ash and Kaidan was superb though, hopefully they will bring back that magic in ME3, and hopefully dlc.

Horizon was what I was picking at.

Kaidan's like, a bro,  and Ashleys certainly a great character, when you get past her deal with aliens. She's definitely second place in terms of LI's to me.

Getting off track, must continue Tali discussion for sake of thread.

Good to hearPosted Image Although I didn't agree with her feelings towards aliens, it certanly added more depth to her character and made her that much more interesting.

Indeed, sorry to have took the topic a bit off topic there Posted Image Sooo Tali.

So, I was thinking about it, and I had passed the point in the game recently where Mordin lectures me on cross-species dating, and Kelly says something.

I want to know 3 things:

How many people know?

What would Tali's reaction be?

And the most important one...

How in the hell did they find out?

EDI is always watching and listening...

So is Joker... and TIM.

Mordin, Garrus, Kelly, EDI, Joker (possibly), Miranda (She has her claws in everything), Kasumi, Liara. Possibly Jacob too.

She'd be quite embarressed for a while. But I think that she would get over it quickly (with Shepard's help?)

Modin, Kasumi, Kelly all seem to have a good eye for this kind of thing. Garrus because he is good friends with both Shepard and Tali and would have noticed something. EDI would have noticed because she is the ship. Joker because he also has control over the ship, EDI may have let hints slip. Miranda because she is (or was) Cerberus and monitors all intell on the ship. Jacob because he seems like enough of a bro to know. I have suspisions that Kasumi was cloaked in shep's room when Tali and him went at it.

As I said. Only suspicions. No actual evidence. If there was evidence however... implications unpleasant.

S'all good though. Kasumi isn't on my ship, so no chance for there not to be a problem anyway.

Okay. One thing just got on my mind and I want to discuss it with you.

Why do people call her "Miss vas Normandy"?
'vas Normandy vas Neema nar Rayya' allocates her to a birth ship (the Rayya), as ship she lives on (Normandy) and the ship she completed her Pilgrimage on (the Neema). None of those are her actual name and seem to serve similarly to a zip code.

The ad on the Citadel has it correctly "next time your out with miss Zorah..." as that is her actual last name/clan name.
[First name]'[Clan name] vas [current ship of residence] vas [ship pilgrimage completed on] nar [ship of birth] is what I believe the format is. If translated to human terms it would be:
[First name] [Last name] [State/country of residence/zip code] [State/country/zip code of birth].

So why do people continue to call her "Miss ship-ship-of-residence"?

Shepard calls her "Miss vas Normandy" during her romance.
That and its kind of a nice pet name. Sort of like a Miss Universe beauty queen.

Formal protocol on a naval military vessel. Shepard just did it to add a bit of flair to the romance. Either that or Chief Engineer Tali'Zorah/Zorah. Tali for those who are close or know her well enough/off duty.

Totally agree with that. But when it comes from the Ad, I think it adds on a sort of ignorance that the people on the Citadel have of quarians. It's the best they honestly do. I can't see asari or a lot of humans or turians understanding it.

All children are taller and more fit than a volus, so it makes sense that they are so ignorant

I would literally pay money to be able to punch the volus and C-sec officer, then be able to give Lia some credits.

I was happy just to use the Spectre status, respect my authority lol. Though some Paragon intensity like the final scene in Overlord DLC would have been nice.  Then in Tali's mind: 'I'm so hot for you right now'
