Her quiet approval is nice.. I did expect some dialogue, but I dont mind either way... cept that cheerleader in the background.sergio71785 wrote...

She didn't say anything, but I know I got some major brownie points for that.

Shepard: That sounds nice, Tali, but we don't have a vid display.
Tali: Well, I thought we could place an omni-tool on your table and use that. We could... you know, sit on the couch, um... together...

There's also the issue of the future. I mean, we find out in LotSB that the SB was basically gunning for her as well.sergio71785 wrote...
Realistically, I'd probably say yes.BTG_01 wrote...
A question for all you guys: Did Shepard really "rescue" Tali from Fist's men? It seemed like she had the situation well in hand. She probably would have just thrown a grenade and ran off.
She was doing a great job defending herself, of course, but it was still three against one. And despite the training she received + her natural talent, she was probably less experienced in actual combat than the turian + his salarian thugs.
I don't think throwing another grenade would grant enough confusion for her to be able to make it out of there. The first time it was just enough for her to jump for cover.

BioWare may have changed the age of an "underage" alien character, I wonder why?:TheodoricFriede wrote...
Does anyone get the idea that in ME1 Tali was intended to be alot younger then she is in the current canon? Like in her late teens?
I realize her official age in ME2 is around 24, but before she was a love interest, was she originally intended to be quite young? This wouldn't be the first time Bioware had a teenager as a squadmate, Mission Vao in KOTOR was only 14.

Considering she's an alien I have many doubts.sergio71785 wrote...

Well, the Pilgrimage is the Quarian rite of passage to the adulthood. I'd say she is physically adult, and psychologically she is almost an adult. That's why she is on Pilgrimage in the first place, right?Weiser_Cain wrote...

And to this: I support adding it to some chapter. And I hope that Ch 23 won't be as serious as the trial chapter, as it was alredy hard and serious enough for me.sergio71785 wrote...

I am now expecting that to be in Chapter 23.
Hah. It would be fun to add a scene like that at some point, but Chap 23 is not the place. It has to be a 'serious' chapter.
She was definately of age, I think the concept from ME1 is that she seemed younger before she completed the Pilgrimage and went through everything with Shepard. In ME2 she is so much more mature, hard to not notice, but she's been a woman the whole time.Savakka1 wrote...

On my first time through ME1, I figured Tali was about 18. Being sent alone to places radically different from the environment of the Flotilla isn't the kind of thing you'd have a child do, not to mention the combat/engineering abilities she possesses and uses. She did seem young in ME1 though, listen to her voice compared to how it is in ME2, I think that's why they pushed how mature she had become so hard. The Shadow Broker dossier really shows how naive she was at the time.camoboy_19 wrote...
