Yeah, I think she said something about Garrus, too. I was all ready to punch her and stuff. >:(

She didn't say anything, but I know I got some major brownie points for that. B)

Shepard: That sounds nice, Tali, but we don't have a vid display.

Tali: Well, I thought we could place an omni-tool on your table and use that. We could... you know, sit on the couch, um... together...

A question for all you guys: Did Shepard really "rescue" Tali from Fist's men? It seemed like she had the situation well in hand. She probably would have just thrown a grenade and ran off.

Realistically, I'd probably say yes.

She was doing a great job defending herself, of course, but it was still three against one. And despite the training she received + her natural talent, she was probably less experienced in actual combat than the turian + his salarian thugs.

I don't think throwing another grenade would grant enough confusion for her to be able to make it out of there. The first time it was just enough for her to jump for cover.

There's also the issue of the future.  I mean, we find out in LotSB that the SB was basically gunning for her as well.

Even if she got away from those guys, she didn't really have anywhere to run to.

In her suit log, her "I think I have all the protection I need" message to the Shadow Broker made me smile.

If Shepard wasn't there and Tali fought off the thugs, she would looked for another SB agent and be at the mercy of that creature.

PS: Thought I share this.

That image is when Shepard goes to talk Tali, right after Mordin's Loyalty mission.

Funny, that's what Tali seems to think about Shepard!

Does anyone get the idea that in ME1 Tali was intended to be alot younger then she is in the current canon? Like in her late teens?
I realize her official age in ME2 is around 24, but before she was a love interest, was she originally intended to be quite young? This wouldn't be the first time Bioware had a teenager as a squadmate, Mission Vao in KOTOR was only 14.

BioWare may have changed the age of an "underage" alien character, I wonder why?:

That may be the reason.^^^^^

I'm pretty sure she was always officially 22 for ME1.

She does seem a bit younger than 22 in ME1, but she's definitely not underage. For one, I can't imagine quarians sending anyone who isn't physically an adult out on their own.

Look at that body! That's a woman, not a girl; no doubt about it! :P

Not to mention Shepard gives Tali and friends suicidal orders 2-3 times on a daily basis, I think she enjoys that deep down lol. The thrill of being constantly shot at and dissing death, and doing it with a lover, glorious indeed. All of that tension is then released in Shepard's cabin. Nice way to end a day of killing. =]

Well,  the Pilgrimage is the Quarian rite of passage to the adulthood. I'd say she is physically adult, and psychologically she is almost an adult. That's why she is on Pilgrimage in the first place, right?

I am now expecting that to be in Chapter 23.

Hah. It would be fun to add a scene like that at some point, but Chap 23 is not the place. It has to be a 'serious' chapter. :?

And to this: I support adding it to some chapter. And I hope that Ch 23 won't be as serious as the trial chapter, as it was alredy hard and serious enough for me. Posted Image

She was definately of age, I think the concept from ME1 is that she seemed younger before she completed the Pilgrimage and went through everything with Shepard. In ME2 she is so much more mature, hard to not notice, but she's been a woman the whole time.

On my first time through ME1, I figured Tali was about 18. Being sent alone to places radically different from the environment of the Flotilla isn't the kind of thing you'd have a child do, not to mention the combat/engineering abilities she possesses and uses. She did seem young in ME1 though, listen to her voice compared to how it is in ME2, I think that's why they pushed how mature she had become so hard. The Shadow Broker dossier really shows how naive she was at the time.

Out of curiosity, I went through Tali's romance dialogue, and at the point where she admits her feelings for you, I told her I wasn't interested. She says something along the lines of "No, of course not...why would you be?" I listened very closely I think I heard the sound of her heart ripping in two.

I half expected Kasumi to suddenly decloak in front of me as I left engineering and scream "YOU MONSTER!"

From ME1 to ME2 ... wonder what'll be the difference in 3?
