As shepard watches, he can't help but feel bad that the god of awesome took his ability to dance. In exchange for his *ss-kicking abilities.kglaser wrote...
Now, dance partners? I can TOTALLY see that.

She's just extremely gifted. To have served with Shepard, as they secretly developed feelings for eachother, then shepard DIED, and she stuck it out for 2 years, always loyal to Shepard. Then he comes back, thanks to the Biggest Human Jack-***es we know, and she still stays by him, out of love and devotion. She tries in every way to stay self-less, but Shepard being the nice guy he is FINALLY professes how he feels.kglaser wrote...
True...but Tali can kick a** AND dance!
Awesome moment in Mass Effect history.
And she still kicks anyone's *ss who endangers her or Shepard.
And she did it all without being ROFLstomped by a gunship or Collectors.
Just saying

Well, Kal'Reegar is the only one in danger of being destroyed by it when Shepard arrives. Besides if Geth broke in Tali could do pretty well for herself.TheodoricFriede wrote...

Edit: Until that Geth Colussus eventually turns around.
Of Course that's why Shepard is there. A knight in shining armor I guess.

Quarians have difficulty finding a new world for two reasons:
They need a garden world in which dextro is the primary amino-acid chirality of the animals/vegetation. For one reason or another, these seem to be a lot rarer than "levo worlds"
And the other, is of course, their weak immune systems. Their own native environment would be hard enough on their immune systems now.
They did, however, at one point begin the colonization of the planet Ekuna, which they discovered. Unfortunately, the Council didn't like that they started colonizing it before they asked for permission, so they were forced to abandon it.
First discovered by the quarians at the turn of the century, Ekuna is habitable but a second-tier choice for most species. Circling an orange sun, Ekuna averages below freezing temperatures. This led development firms to colonize at the planet's equator, where the climate is tolerable for agriculture. The quarians, seeking a homeworld of their own, petitioned the Citadel Council for the right to take over Ekuna, but they had already settled a few hundred thousand quarians on the planet before approaching the Council. Seeing this occupation as an illegal act, the Council turned a deaf ear to quarian pleas and gave the world to the elcor, who could withstand the high gravity of the world far better. The quarians squatting on the planet were given one galactic standard month to leave, at which point their colonies would be bombarded. The junk left behind by the fleeing quarians clogs up portions of the landscape to this day. Non-elcor visitors to Ekuna are advised to use personal or vehicular mass effect fields to lighten the pressure, as the surface gravity will otherwise cause health and mechanical problems.
Seriously, Council, WTF.
This is one of many reasons I hate the Council. Great threaten genocide. Sick bastards.
I want to start my own force in ME3. Free of the Council and Cerberus.

Council races just don't know how to let go. It's sad really.
Rather work for the Migrant Fleet then the Human Terrorists or the High and Mighty Council.
Edit: Also, that was a serious lack of judgement. Quarian race undergoes Genocide caused by Geth, they are kicked off their worlds, and then the Council demonizes them and cuts them off from all aid.... I could become a Anti-Citadel rebel because of that lol. Good cause.

One thing I found disappointing about Tali's loyalty quest is that the ship didn't seem packed enough, she made it seem as if there'd be quarians hanging from the rafters and hot swapping bunks. I've been in schools more packed than what was presented.

Well I would imagine that area of the ship would be less crowded, because it's an important event. Also, that area of the ship didn't strike me as being a center of a residential area. There were still plenty of people, and other parts of the ship were probably more crowded, but we can't judge the whole ship on the experience of a room, and a few halls.Weiser_Cain wrote...
I always imagined the Quarians were pretty squishy and damp inside those suits.

On the crew decks of their ships, they have multiple grids of six cubicles, each one about 12' by 12'. Those cubicles are the actual living spaces of the quarians. Each cubicle has three walls, with cloth that hangs from the ceiling as a cover for the entry.
So basically, quarian families live in spaces about the size of a bedroom.
It's too bad we didn't actually get to see a crew deck, though. That would have been really neat.

The Ascension book describes in great detail how quarians live.

I've always been fond of the idea of assembling your own group of ships, having a quarian one would be interesting as it would likely be both the crappiest and best run ship.

If Tali gets exiled (God Forbid), you can only visit temporarily, cause someone's going to notice all the unconcious quarian marines on the floor.sergio71785 wrote...

Edit: I always save Tali's reputation on the Migrant Fleet in her loyalty mission, but I can just see Zaal'Koris finding a reason to exile her.

She just has to do something impressive enough for the Fleet so that the Admirals would exonorate her. And as Tali has saved the whole Fleet once alredy, (On the Citadel) I'm sure she could pull out something impressive once again.camoboy_19 wrote...

According to the codex, they're more likely to eat themselves to sickness.Eldareus wrote...
I suppose that for a Quarian drinking to point of sickness would be potentially deadly for them. They would have to take off the mask when getting sick exposing themselves to germs or they worse they pass out get sick and suffocate in their masks.kglaser wrote...
Although, how much do quarians drink? My guess would be "not much". They seem much too practical and less likely to practice reality-avoidance than, say, humans.
