Until we see the true face, this is my definitive version.

I don't see why he has to burn Tali of all quarians, especially since she's probably the most important quarian of her time. Koris has poor judgement in my opinion.
Edit: scratch that, ALL of the captains (Besides Raan) are vulnerable to poor judgement.

My guess is he had bad blood with her father Rael and he took it out on her. That and he wanted to make an example of her for promoting hostilities with the Geth rathering finding a peaceful solution. I liked his peaceful solution agenda just not at Tali's expense.

I don't think she was dragged around much by her father (at least as a kid, anyway). From her dialog in ME1, it really sounded like her father wasn't around all that much during her youth. It seemed like her free time was spent with her mother.
In ME2, too, when Raan mentions Tali's youth, Shepard says something along the lines of "I'm not hearing much about Tali's father in all this" and Raan defends him by saying that Rael was often busy with Fleet related things.
Edit: I got a screenshot of her "a month ago" line. "A month ago, I was patching a makeshift fuel line into a converted tug ship in the flotilla."
Hmm, they need tug ships? I guess for when a larger ship's drive core breaks down, or they find a trashed ship they intend to repair?

She has impressive posture.
In the past we have dictated that is due to her being an Admiral's daughter.

Indeed she does, but then Tali's is just impressive person.

I was serious about the uniform question though. I figured if anyone would know it would be the people of this thread.

Quarians don't generally seem to make a large gap between ruling class and normal citizens. Afterall, as was said in Ascension, even Captains live in pretty much similar quarters as ordinary Quarians do.Eldareus wrote...

Besides Tali's, I didn't see other Quarians wear a suit that would distinguish themselves from any other Quarian, They all seem to wear a basic generic design and suit. Which is odd I figure since their outer appearance is their suit I would expect each suit would be unique and have a distinct 'personality'. Definalty a suit that would designate the ruling class from the every day citizen.

We don't see this variance due to development limitations. Bioware didn't want/couldn't spare the resources to design multiple unique outfits.

ME characters guess staring on the Simpsons? I wouldn't hold my breath for that.
Maybe Shep will run into Kang and Kodos one day, though, and pick up some lines from them, to use on Tali.

You're definitely not alone on this, I'd envision something like this not being far from the truth.sergio71785 wrote...
I feel kinda alone on this, but I imagine that if quarians have hair, they would keep it long, bound in a neat and tight pony tail. This is for two reasons.
The first is that they simply wouldn't want/be able to have it cut very often.
The second is that keeping it in a pony tail would kinda make sense. The hair is forced to run flat against the skull, making it very well "controlled." And then they could just let the pony tail 'feed' into the neck part of their suit and just dangle.
