Hey guys, dropping my to see what you guys think Tali would do in various situations that Shep is thrown in. Don't be afraid to throw in why, and what you did in the situation^_^
What do you think Tali would do in:
BDtS
Zaeed Loyalty Mission
Save/let Council die
Rachni choice
Feros choice
Virmire choice
Collector Base decision
Legion Loyalty
Overlord choice
Samesh Bhatia decision
Jacon Loyalty choice
And that's all I can think of. I know that she voices her opinions on certain choices, but most of those are due to the game's design of each of your sqaud making a point for each side
BDtS - I kind of think she would save the hostages. I see Tali being able to more easily cope with letting someone go who may cause a lot more destruction later rather than have deaths firmly on her hands.
Zaeed - Save the people. I don't think this one is very close really.
Council - She would focus on Sovereign. At the time of the choice, Sovereign is an unknown enemy who will end all life in the galaxy if he succeeds. Tali wouldn't risk that for some political strength.
Rachni - Live, I don't think she could genocide a non geth race really (ignoring the obvious renegade bit if Kaidan/Liara are with you.)
Feros - I'm not really sure what the choice is here, randomly kill the colonists for giggles? That whole sequence was one of the less thought out ones in the entire ME series so far IMO.
Virmire - I'll take the easy way out and say that she would save whoever is with the bomb since its mission critical.
Collector Base - Destroy, this seems like one where she does give her real opinion, not one based on a game mechanic.
Legion Loyalty - Destroy, its the safer play, there's no guarantee that re-writing won't lead to the same ending.
Overlord - Haven't played
Samesh Batia - This is a more complicated one than I first thought. I thought she would go for the emotionally right decision easily, but if anyone can understand needing to test against geth weaponry, its her. I think she would still have the body returned though.
Jacob's loyalty - Betraying your crew is probably about as bad an offense you can get for a quarian. I think she would leave him there and let the crew deal with them in their own way.
All of that's just opinion though, you could probably make a good case both ways on all decisions.
On another note, good to see the thread back, I've been gone a couple months, missed quite a lot I see.
*edit* And yes I realize I contradicted myself with Council/BDtS. I'll qualify that by saying that the stakes at hand change things. It could be easier to deal with the deaths of tens of thousands faceless people when the risk is so high, while two people begging for help is an unacceptable loss, even if the end result is worse.
