Tell your friend that, while she may only be a videogame character, she is also an ideal.
You, quite obviously, will never be in a relationship with the "real" Tali. However you can use her as an ideal to find a woman with the qualities you respect in the character.

Selflessness, intelligence, respect, a relationship based on mutual love and trust, and what the hell beauty.

There is no shame in that.

Hey guys, dropping my to see what you guys think Tali would do in various situations that Shep is thrown in. Don't be afraid to throw in why, and what you did in the situation^_^

What do you think Tali would do in:

BDtS - Tali would have saved the astroid team.  I think she would have programmed Chikita to follow Balak and try to sabotage his escape vehicle.

Zaeed Loyalty Mission - Save the Miners and save Zaeed, but she would have harsh stinging words for Zaeed the entire time.

Save/let Council die  -  Tali does not strike me as a vidictive person, depsite the prejudice her people experience at the hands of the council races she would save the council in vain hope they may help the Quarians with their struggle. While she likes Shepard and the human crew abroad the Normandy I don't think she would hand over the galactic power to the younger, aggressive race as the Humans and Quarians are in no position to dictate policy to other council races. She would have saved the council to maintain galactic stability.

Rachni choice - Tali was wary about the Rachni Queen, I don't think it is in her heart to commit genocide on any race even the Geth. Though she would second guess herself and question if she made the right decision for letting the Queen go free.

Feros choice - Save the Colonists

Virmire choice -  Grant Ashley her heroic soldiers death.

Collector Base decision - There is no way she would allow such advance and dangerous technology to fall into the Illusive man's hands. Burn baby Burn.

Legion Loyalty - While she might be warming up to the possiblity the Legion is telling the truth about non heretic Geth, however,  she would have choose to weaken the Geth and strengthing her people's advantage.  I think with time she will overcome her innate prejudices against the non heretic Geth and help broker a peaceful solution between the Quarians and Geth. She may very well set foot on Rannoch without a wasteful war.

Overlord choice - Save David, but try to download any residual data from the project to help the Quarians struggle against the Geth.

Samesh Bhatia decision - Tali is respectful of religous traditions. The body would be returned.

Jacob Loyalty choice - Death is too easy of a punishment for Jacob's father, he will rot in Jail.

It's right after she first comes aboard. She mentions that it doesn't feel right to have Cerberus in charge of the ship, which Shepard can reply with something along the lines of "Does it look like they're pulling the strings, Tali? I' not working for them--they're working for me"

And then she goes into that attitude pose, and takes Shepard down a notch by sarcastically saying (to the effect of) "So you're the one that ordered all the listening devices and tracking beacons throughout the ship?"

When Tali talks, there's no way to argue against her... for many, many, obvious reasons.

Not to mention the fact that she has a habit of being correct. XD

Man, I *wish* Tali would talk with the Illusive Man.

You know that after like 20 minutes of direct Talidoctrination, he'll be sending ships, supplies, and tons of resources to the Migrant Fleet, while at the same time devouting Cerberus' resources to finding a cure for the quarian's immune systems. :P

TIM would probably end up with shotgun slugs in his face... then we'd put some pigeon who likes us as new TIM... then Tali can Talidoctrinate HIM to do all those things.

And that's how the Normandy convinced TIM to cause Cerberus to self-destruct.

TIM: DEM HIPS

Tali: *Goes into attitude pose and folds arms*

TIM: Err... excuse me *takes out and lights a cigarette* I'm not sure what came over me.

Why hadn't Shepard thought of this earlier?

Just a reminder that Woo in particular gave "dem" anything a no-go for the thread, and I don't think seconded/thirded/fourthed/fifthed posts are gonna fly as well. It's been awhile, so reminder about character thread posting.

I remember reading that, but I can't imagine him having a problem with a little minific post that just happened to contain those two words.

I imagine his issue was when people quote images with only "dem hips" responses, or something like that, since that is very spammy.
