I really don't think Tali is lucky, her mother died, her dad did not show love, she nearly got killed by saren's men, her entire squad died on Freedom's Progress and Haestrom(minus Kal if you saved him) then she watched her father die, and was accused of treason by her 'family'. She is only lucky when Shepard is around. She has had a hard life, I feel sympathy for her.
Agreed. Tali is quite possibly the most unlucky character in the ME universe, besides maybe Garrus, who got stuck with a crappy job for a large portion of his life, thought he lost Shepard, formed his own twelve man team, lost them, lost the guy who betrayed him, and then probably got really, really wasted.
Anyway back to Tali: she is only lucky because of Shepard. Her life is a mess, Shepard rectified that, which is why it makes sense she's so attached to him.

without shephard in the picture she certainly does fit the tagic figure.
maybe that's one of the reasons why I like Tali, and subsiquently Garrus- so much.
They got some background stories to 'em. But still are pretty cool people despite them.
well, that and Tali's bod is pretty attractive.
Bioware, I approve of your character writing.

Tali wouldn't survive without Shepard. Shepard couldn't live without Tali. Simple.
this reminds me of this fanfic.

Seriously, what imbecile decided that they wouldn't let the player at least give her credits?Calinstel wrote...
Lia'Vail stated she eats turian food paste at the turian shelter I believe. I always do that quest with Tali, just wish Shepard was allowed to do more for the poor kid.PlAgu3 666 wrote...
I'm sure quarians could eat sterilized Turian cuisine and who knows I'm sure Turians like their burgers if not they would probably have something similar. Shepard has LOTS of credits so I'm sure he could afford it regardless of cost.

That makes just so much sense. Tali needs Shepard and vice versa, it has literally written itself.PlAgu3 666 wrote...

They're better not be that cliche where you/lover/best friend must die for good of everyone. Just gonna be so sad if I have to say goodbye to Tali... or Garrus!... yeah Garrus is there..... yeah... *cough*Runescapeguy9 wrote...
They know how to write stories without relying on clichès. Do not worry.

Likewise. I considered killing off Tali and Shepard together at the end of Awakening for about five minutes, hated myself for it, and dismissed the idea entirely.xlavaina wrote...

Tali cannot die, if BW writes her death in, her stunt double will sub for the scene.PlAgu3 666 wrote...
Even if Tali and Shepard dies because of Reapers or other crazy nasties that have yet to be revealed, Tali will live always in our hearts and on this thread

Tali becoming an admiral makes no sense if you think about it logically. Just chill out.PlAgu3 666 wrote...
I'm very conflicted, I want to exonerate Tali but what if she becomes an admiral and leaves? Should I just exile her or would that be too selfish?
