I love that about Tali. She knows when to be her kind hearted self and when to be the cold calculating killer that grenades assassins and mercs before putting them down with a shotgun.

I don't know. I was "Damn, girl!" when she and Garrus went down to see if Saren was dead, and she put a round in him to make sure.

Scored major points with that display. Shoot, even I was feeling a little sorry for Saren up until then. And she's all, "What does it matter? He's dead anyway. Best not to chance this machinery doing some crazy **** to us."

And as it turns out, she was right to be concerned, because sure enough, killer-monkey-robot out to get us moments later.

I'm just saying, I wasn't sure whether to be turned on, or freaked out.

Oddly, I'm finding it hard to come up with a sexy (and subtle!) pose for Tali. "Oops, I dropped my omni-tool!" just doesn't seem to work.

Hmm... re: the "Admiral" future for Tali. I think that's something best saved for 20-30 years in the future as an epilogue or something. She's a bit young, after all.

As for whether or not she should be in ME3, I mean, come on! She has to be. She has to be the one to say the right thing before the big battle against the Reapers:

Tali: It's a million kilometers to the Reapers, we have a full fuel tank, maximum load of mass driver rounds and Joker's... wearing sunglasses?!
Shepard: Hit it!



(...and yes Harbinger will approve unnecessary violence.)

(No, I didn't think "it's dark" would have fit in space as well as it did in Illinois somewhere south of Chicago.)

Not yet. Apparently the Tali lithograph is going to be bundled with the Thane and Grunt ones in a $120 3-pack for the first week or so. Or so I've heard.

I am not sure if I should play it safe and get the package (I like all the pics) or try and luck out and wait for the single

There is dialog to make it look like the Alerei was layed out differently at some point in early development and it allowed for missing the body of Tali's father.  One of the forum posters (whose name I forget) has a series of links in his sig that shows a lot of hidden and disused dialog that has the dialog used when talking to Admiral Raan after the Alerei mission where you do not discover the body.

I wish I could remember that user's name, the extra dialog is really cool.

As far as I can tell, the factor that determines who shoots Saren after he falls through the glass is who veers more towards renegade between the two companions, in the same way that which line of argument to be spoken by which companion is decided at other points in the game.  So, if you had Wrex with Tali, he would shoot Saren. However, if you had Kaidan with Tali (and hadn't "renegaded" him via romance dialogue; doing this apparently shifts Kaidan from "most paragon" to "most renegade"), Tali would shoot Saren.  I actually think that dynamic works well with the shooting.  It' was only ever daft with the dialogue, people expressing wholly different opinions based on who you happened to choose for your squad.

Interesting about Tali shooting before Garrus.  I tend not to take both him and Tali with my Infiltrator Shep in ME1 because it means no biotics, so I didn't know she was considered more hardcore than him.  ;-D  Perhaps whether you "paragon" or "renegade" Garrus in his personal quest has an impact on his position in the spectrum.  :-)

(As a side point, Tali and Garrus are one of my two standard teams for ME2.  Loyal friends who will watch your back are more valuable than biotics in this game, honestly...)
