...Does handedness even matter here?  I mean, it's basically just sugar.

Edit:  at the top:  Tali in... heels?

OOOO thats right! the forum has emoticons!Posted Image

but people do tend to want to share their favorite foods and drinks with their partner. that seems sad for opposing chirality couples. the FZT even makes that argument to VGQ

I made this post in my forum regarding Tali's intelligence question. What do you think?

Agree? Disagree? Like it? Hate it? Have something to add?

There's not much to add, I totally agree. Besides, we have to admit that everyone in the team is the best in his field so that would authomatically says how smart she is.

As for the question of Tali's intelligence, it's reiterated that she's a genius prodigy among quarians as far as engineering and all the sciences involved, so it's a safe bet that she's right up there with the more scientifically-minded individuals on the Normandy.

Disappointing that we never see her actually voice that. I certainly wouldn't mind technobabble with DAT ACCENT.

Heh. I certainly wouldn't complain.

I love Tali's technobabble as you put it. It is awesome when she sounds smart and I feel smarter than my Shepard.:D Tali is just amazing. Now that I got my game back, I have to push on through ME1 and into ME2 for Tali.

Greeting and Salutations (is that the same thing?) to everyone. First time back in the Tali Thread and, well, it feels like home. I don't really have anything to add to the discussions currently underway, however I just wanted to thank everyone who had a hand in bringing Tali back, and hope she's here to stay in more then just our Hearts. Hopefully this post does not go against the rules. I just wanted to express some joy. It's just good to see Tali back.

I don't actually think that Tali is technically smarter than Mordin. I think that all races in the game fall into different catagories of smartaness.

Comparing Tali to Mrodin on the basis of general intelligence is not very applicable, as Mordin, like what the game seems to imply about most Salarians, is a scientist specailizing in genetics. Tali is an engineer specilizing in ship tech. Neither could fill each others shoes, and probably would have trouble understanding each others technobabble as it would be different for each one.

From what I've seen in game the races altogether fall into certain catagories:

Asari: Diplomats.

Volus: Financial buisness

Turian: Military

Salarian: Scientists, mainly biological

Krogan: HULK SMASH!

Vorcha: GAVORNS TRICKS!

Batarian: Portrayed as generally evil-ish in game. More data required for opinion.

Elcor: More data required for opinion.

Quarian: Specailists in technology. Ship tech and programming mostly.

Human: Jack of all trades. Master of none. Probably good leaders.

If I wasnted a biological weapon to destroy my foes, I would go to Salarians.

If I wanted to significantly boost ship power, or tech attacks, or develope a new form of weapon to combat the reapers, I would chose Quarians.

Most seem to believe that because she is on shepards team, a team the consists of the best of the best, she is therefore the best of her kind. I highly doubt this as we have simply not seen enough of them to find out. I bet she is above average, but not the best.

I apologise to Collider if I just paraphrased what he said in that other forum post he linked to. I tried to read it but I took one look at it and went TL;DR.

On the Dr. Pepper stuff:

Meh. It certainly would be a flavor she would never have though possible, but Dr. Pepper is one fo the few things that you can only love or hate. I do not like Dr. Pepper. I prefer a frothy mug of root-beer.

I have a feeling that she has not yet exerienced a carbonated (fizzy) drink at all. Would be fun to see her reaction to her first.

Shepard: Here! Try this.

*Offers specially prepared food/drink tube of [insert fizzy drink here]*

Tali: Okay

*Drinks*

Tali: ...

Shepard: You okay?

Tali: It buuuurns. But its sooo gooood.

The suicide mission bio pretty much says that she's above the rest among the Quarians. It says that she's considerd a genius even among the already technologically apt Quarians.

Oh, and you should read my post. I think I demonstrated Tali's something special.

A question to ponder:

If Tali shows up in ME3 (or as I prefer to think when Posted Image),

do you think bioware will do some cool intro for those who haven't played the first two games?
i like how she was introduced in ME2, and i had never played ME1 at that point.

think something similar will happen?

Hmm... good question. It will all depend on how the game will effectively begins. If the game will start with no ships blow-ups like in ME2 the sweetest thing possible would be just foun her in Shepard's room waiting for her Commander <3 But also, something like an action sequence where she arrives to cover you in the most critical moment would be awesome. The meeting of Freedom's Progress was very well done, but having something like that again might means that she won't be at you side since the begininnig, and I guess no one on this topic wants this.

i could settle for an 'awww' kinda of introduction. Posted Image
as for action, perhaps ME3 would start in a mission, i dunno. i've always imagined you'd need to pick 4 or 5 squaddies to keep due to some unforseen circumstances so that they can still introduce a few more or something. needless to say, Tali stays. no matter what.

it needs to come out sooner rather than later, so we can talk to Tali some more. Posted Image

It has something hip-popihs xD Nice thought, man. Also, a quick prewiev of my actual in-progress sequence:

Posted Image

This one is part of what should have been the last sequence of that ME: Requiem project I had in mind, but I enjoyed alot storyboarding it and cannot waited to started working on it. If this isn't obvious, the sequence will show Shepard, Tali and Garrus on the Normandy Crash Site after the Omega4 events. Still, I again messed a bit with Tali's legs, and the Garrus boots has a pair of inaccurate details (but it was the first time I drawn him...) so please don't nitpick about these two things

I don't know when the whole sequence will be done, but I'll post some other teasers in future :)

Tali is one of the most "romantic women's" of the many person's of the very interesting computer game - Mass Effect. For almost a year has passed since of the appearance of the second part of the trilogy. However, the discussion on "Tali” continued in many forums. Written various stories, which continue this theme. There are many talented fan art's works on the theme of Tali story.

Tali is one of my favorite characters in the game. I'm not a writer ... On the topic of Tali, I made a small video story. In the musical slide - film depicted some aspects of her story.

If interested - take a look: http://www.dailymoti...ffect-1-3_music

Nice job, Alien. At least you know about the legs, heh. Can't wait to see the full project.

That's a nice montage, ZABL2010, glad you made it. And yes, she's a very well loved character all around the Internet.
