It's tough to say for sure, since she has like half a line maskless. BUT ANYWAY, some dude posted pics of Tali's placeholder face on here a while ago. I got bored and photoshopped it.



Cruddy, I know. Tried to make her look sickly and only sort of human. Didn't want to go with purple. Attempted several different skin colors and textures.  My only concern is that she looks too... caucasian here.  Meh, whatever.

Thoughts?

IIRC, it's possible. Tali did mention that story about that quarian woman who redeemed herself. Trouble is, it was posthumously.

However Shepard (and the Galaxy) might need the fleet against the Reapers, without Tali there is no "direct" way Shepard has influence on the Quarians.

Yep.
Legion's likely going to be only thing connecting Shepard to the Geth as well.
It would seem that you'd need both squad mates to broker peace between the two races.

Nice ... having her so pallid 'cause of the life in the suit is an interesting point. I like much the "space drow" interpretations but this is definately another good possibility.

I'm totally for this kind of situation. It will make the survival or not of our squadmates in Suicide Mission a key point of the whole trilogy, and not just something to be pissed off in chase our favourite squaddies die.

I was a bit disappointed that there was barely a reference to the Quarians making peace with the Geth in exchange for their homeworld, to me that would be the best solution. However we were given a very straight-forward perspective in ME2 and I hope there will be a much larger scope for the next Mass Effect since both Tali and Legion are my favorite team-mates and have some of the most deepest loyalty mission compared to someone like Jacob or Jack.

considering you only get legion at the end of ME2 for the most part,
odds are** if Tali and Legion survive, there will be a way to broker peace/war/kill off a race in ME3.

**but i mean, everyone here let Tali live of course.

Come to think of it; imagine melee combat in ME3?! THATS AWESOME!!!!  Biotic impalement FTW!
Also, you guys ever seen the box art of Haze? Imagine the introduction sequence of Tali in ME3 being introduced like that (ie. puncture in her helmet revealing her eyes)

Do hope she gets to use the knife in me3, at least in some sort of cut-scene. Would be neat to see some of the cqc training she received with it.

A decent melee combat system in ME3 woulbe be nice for sure, but just having Tali who stabs someone in a cutscene will be enough satisfying too.

Yeah, that pic's Troodon80's. It was part of a lil' collaborate project the two of us had going on in Clan Zorah for a while.

Looks pretty good. I'm a huge fan of the placeholder face, and my preference for the skin tones ranges from pure white to dark grey (and any greyscale in between), so this is pretty decent in my eyes.
