Simply we'll have to redeem her if she was exiled. Unveiling the Daro'Xen's plans and/or achieve peace with geths seems to best chance to do that. If she isn't exiled these two things will have to be done anyway, but probably then will all be easy, 'cause we'll have Shala'Ran and the Neema's captain at our side. Surely nothing less than solve the war with geths will be enough to force the quarians to risk everithing to save humanity.

Well, I seem to remember Tali herself basically saying that nothing is ever set in stone, so it implies that there may be some way to get her in good standing with the fleet again.

Which also bodes another interesting question; If Tali is exiled (Heh, not in my saved games ᴖ.ᴖ) then would you have to do missions in certain orders?

For example; Tali is exiled, she can't get within (My brain's not working today... what is it 50,000 Km?) of the Fleet without having the Normandy destroyed. Does this mean that you would have to solve for peace with the geth first, before making contact with the quarians?

If Tali isn't exiled, then assumedly, you can simply go to the Fleet and make contact.

Yes, she said that she remember another exiled quarian able to redeem herself... but also that she was forced to sacrify herself to achieve that. Surely, without her able to make us docking to the Flotilla we won't be able to recruit the quarians, so first we'll have to achieve to peace with Geths to redeem her, or eventually hope that some former friends of Tali will give us an hand... but Shala's an Admiral and I don't think that she would like to compromise her position for Tali... and Kal'Reagar is just a soldier, and not a particularry smat one... Veetor also didn't even finished his pilgrimadge! But like for you... it's not a thing I'm going to find out personally, at least not in the first playtroughts.

.With ME3
coming 360 days from now. I'm curious to see if Tali will have a new
look or stick with what she looks like now with a few tweaks here and
there.

It will be interesting, I imagine that they will probably
stick with what they have, but perhaps tweak it a little.

Her new outfit probably was a post-pilgrimadge gift, I don't think she'll change it without a good reason, but repears are coming, so there IS a good reason. Maybe she might pass from a simple envirosuit to a light armoured one... just to avoid to be killed by a goddamn bullet in her hip... like it happened in my first playtrought ever.

Ignoring the (j/k); I'd like that, yeah.
I'd also appreciate it if BioWare switched to a slightly more- ...Modern... Engine, rather than UE3.
In order to properly convey Tali's good looks. :3

I don't think there is an engine possible of containing Tali's absolute beauty.

IMO the Quarians are not going to be able to evacuate a significant number of people if there are multiple Reapers present. If they are willing they could help pre-invasion, but many Quarian ships would be easy targets for Reapers and it would not be militarily sound to expend their warships evacuating Earth in the midst of an invasion. If an evacuation of some sort occurs it would probably look more like what happened with the Drell. A small percentage being rescued and the rest fighting for survival in a deteriorating situation. Ugly, but that seems the most likely scenario barring a solution to the Reapers before Earth is destroyed.

If nothing else, it would be a highly symbolic gesture by the quarians, especially if the other council species sit back and let Earth get waylayed in retaliation for humanity's rapid advancement in the galaxy and  takeover of power in the Citadel. The attack on Earth is likely a decapitating move by the reapers, and as long as they concentrate on human systems the other species would be more than willing to dismiss it as a problem the humans brought on themselves just as the Citadel did 300 years ago when the quarians were getting wiped out by the geth.

Imagine then, the turians, salarians and asari sitting back and doing nothing* as earth is razed, while the species the "civilized" galazy (quarians, kogran, geth and even the rachni) all rally to her defense. I think those that help humanity in their time of need won't be forgotten.

* Mainly referring to the Citadel council types. Certainly the liks of Garrus, Mordin, Liara and Samara will put their lives on the line, just as they always have done.

I remember a discussion Shepard had with Kyle Reegar about fighting smarter not harder. Had me thinking, Quarians should learn how to be snipers. If so I can see the Migrant Fleet build their ships with longer range weapons on their ships.

In one of the earlier builds of ME1, they considered the idea of Tali being a sniper. There's even a wallpaper they made.

While he could ignore the Quarian's help, I dont think that even the Turian Ambassador could ignore the home planet of one of the council species being attacked.

That said, if he does choose to ignore it, I really hope Anderson punches him in the gut.

I find great irony in the quarians helping save the council races from being annihilated by the Reapers.

Tecnically quarians already saved the galaxy... without Tali's data Shepard wasn't free to hunt Saren and then the reapers would have won. But yes... a more plateal salvage would be great.

It's pretty funny how, without Tali, Shepard wouldn't have accomplished anything.
Tali was pretty much the most important squadmember in ME1, when it came to plot progression. (Liara's probably second, with helping you find the relay.)

And in ME2, the "quarian provides you with McGuffin" thing is repeated with Veetor giving you data on the Collectors.

Tali will be in ME3,
it doesn't make sense to just discard a character 2/3 of the way through the trilogy.
especially a well built, popular character like Tali imo.

Can't say for certain this early, but I agree with Belwin in that'd be pretty strange not to have these characters return in the final installment, especially considering how much emphasis was put on them. In particular Tali's been there since ME1, has a role in the quarian/geth subplot, and is a love interest. I'd say that spells for decent chances.

I pretty much expect the Council to come around in ME3. Would be disappointed if they're perpetually always...dismissing you. There should be an arc.

Oh, and it would also be satisfying if they warm up to the quarians due to their part in defeating the Reapers.

That whole "You have a planet to go back to!" thing just became a lot harsher in hindsight didn't it?

I do not blame Tali for not having the ability to see into the future.
That would be awesome, though.

Though I suppose now that humanity has been chased off its homeworld will make the quarians a lot more sympathic and willing to help if Shepard helps them in Mass Effect 3.

Awesome

Since Shepard is recruiting races/factions against the Reapers, I wonder what the mission is for the quarians. Surely they could believably make exonerated & loyal Tali help the process, but that itself wouldn't be enough.

It looks like Tali is going to be sporting her Mass Effect 2 design in the comic the PS3 users are getting. Which is probaly just a way for newbies to familarize themselves with a reccuring character, but still interesting nonetheless.
