What makes Tali so appealing? I know she's beautiful and all, but so is miranda and liara and ashley. So what do you guys think makes Tali so special?

Her honesty and bravery stand out for me and her shyness and accent are very cute. She also stands up for herself when she needs to so she's not a pushover (don't forget she has a shotgun! Lol).

I agree about her accent. It's amazing. About the geth and quarians working together, since the geth are synthetics, and they are run by logic, and they don't like the reapers, the logical thing to do would be to work with the quarians and the rest of the galaxy. I think the quarians would see that too. Also maybe an opprotunity to possibly weaken the geth if they plan to invade their homeworld again.

Her personalty is the major factor here and her accent is just spot on. Posted Image

Anyone thinks that you'll have to either fight off the geth from her planet or make them share with Quarians in ME3? I think that it would make sense. Quarians are very good at engineering, geth are good at working. They could make some sort of defense together.

The ME2 story hints at that I think. Considering the ME3 trailer any surviving humans may want a part of Rannoch to settle down on too.

All i know is tali's awesome. I think its because she has more personality than any other character in the game. if something bad happens to her you actually feel bad.

That is subjective to the personality of the gamer. To some people, Tali has more personality while some would say Wrex, or some would say Jack or Ashley.

I don't think biowares that dumb. They brought back the best in KotOR, they'll do the same for ME

I wouldn't say Tali was the best squad member, but I will say she was the most popular.

Tali in ME2 = Fanservice

Back to Tali's personality, she really does have a good personality. Furthermore, she has a nice body as well. However, to me she comes across as this little sister type. To me, she doesn't have that badass female type like an Ashley. Secondly, Tali in terms of romance comes across like a HS girl who has a crush on the star Quarterback. Liara just wanted to bunk with you because you had this cool connection to the Protheans, but Ashley's felt more like an actual romance in which she sort of plays hard to get while throwing flirty hints but ultimately opens up to you.

Also Tali also does a lot of ego stroking for maleSHEP which is a turn off to me. Someone like Ashley had a bit more of a challenge. Hell, Ash even laughs when you try to say something romantic.

It hints it so much that I'd be very surprised if we weren't able to reclaim Rannoch or at least give the quarians a home somewhere else.

I really hope the litho is foreshadowing.
That and it was really good looking

Wouldn't it be a pretty huge campaign to retake the homeworld? It seems more likely to me that you could start to try to get it back, or perhaps try to negotiate with the geth and Quarians to help them. But then I don't know how long it took the Geth to drive out the Quarians.

I agree though, it was such a big deal in Tali's loyalty mission that it seems very likely that the Quarian's problem will be somehow addressed in the next game.

Yes, I should have clarified. The foreshadowing was moreso that Shepard would be able to contribute to the reclamation rather than directly achieving it. Who knows though, Mass Effect has been one for grandeur.

I would be very surprised if they didn't.

Giving the fans what they want is absolutely necesary if a entertainment company wants to survive.

In other words, Tali (and Garrus) was not only squadmates but romanceable in ME2 ONLY because they were so popular in ME1. Casey Hudson even said it himself how they [Bioware] was suprised how people found women with chicken feet and covered face attractive so they brought her back in ME2 to be romanced.  I believe BIoware initally planned to give Tali/Garrus roles similar to that of the rest of the ME1 squad in that they'll all have cameos with the possibility of having their own DLC (Like Liara) and/or squadmates in ME3.

Proof that Bioware listens to us fans. Makes me wonder if they'll take the next romance scenes a little further such as revealing Tali's face....or more.

I would've been OK if Tali wasn't a squadmate in ME2, but had her own DLC like Liara. A "meh" feeling for a cameo, but I would've hated BioWare if they had Tali do the same bulls*it  Ashley/Kaiden did. YOU WERE DEAD FOR TWO FREAKIN  YEARS AND THE FATE OF THE GALAXY IS AT STAKE!!!

As of right now, without knowing how much time has passed since the end of ME2, i don't think the story would flow if you had to go out and get new squadmates. You had gained their loyalty and taken a suped up normandy 2. How much better could you get?

Her selflessness and the way her romance was written attracted me. Oh, and her eyes are beautiful.

For me:

1- She has an attractive body I'll be honest.

2- Her Romance wasn't a 1 game thing were they both see each other and jump each other's bones. It took two games to develop.

3- She knows how to hold herself off, physically. Literally I am a man who likes a woman who can fight.... again literally. My girlfriend still beats me at boxing

4- ....She has a shotgun but is sweet............

In otherwords she is the perfect paradox, when needed she is a killing machine, not in the weird sense but yes she knows how to take life... in the other she is sweet but not the melodramatic warrior woman that breaks down on a man or the overly agressive female that takes completely over.

In the end she is a paradox... neither too much of one thing or another.

I just finished reading Ascension... can anyone tell me, is Seeto Tali's brother? Just wondering since he mentions having a sister who was originally from the Rayya then became crew of the Neema after her pilgrimage...

And sorry if this is an already well-known fact.

"Seeto's father was a navigator; his mother was on the Idenna's civilian Council. Unusually for a quarian, Seeto also had an older sister who joined the Rayya's crew after her Pilgrimage. It is possible, therefore, that Seeto was born during a period when the prohibition against single births in quarian families had been lifted. "

Therefore he is not tali's sis. Since tali makes no mention of having a brother. Also she doesn't mention being born when the quarian pop was low.

That and Rael Zorah was an Admiral on the Admiralty Board and not a Navigator...

My thoughts on her appearance are...

Hair?-We know Quarians are mammals which means she probably has hair/fur.
Skin-When you look at her mask in the right lighting that you can see through her skin looks grayish
Eyes-It looks like they glow, maybe like a cat's?
Nose-From what you can see through the mask given the right lighting she has a humanlike nose.
Mouth-Given her accent, I'd say quarian mouths aren't too different from standard (No predator mouth) but, I doubt it would look like a human/asari/salarian mouth, maybe it's got predatorlike things on the sides? that'd be pretty cool.

comments? praise? abuse? your theories? I'd love to hear them (okay maybe I wouldn't love to hear the abuse... but I'd still hear it.)

Bit shallow there.
