Wow, good find my friend. Good effing find, will you be my friend? lolz

What reason would I have to be otherwise?

This video, in my opinion, outshines almost all of the other Tali face revealed videos

Tali hates elevators

A nice touch indeed, and one more thing that give us hope to continue well her romance in ME3.

Oh, and Good Year Tranzmetal!

Yes, I truly enjoyed that line when I heard it. There should be more reactions from NPC's to Shepard's LI. For example, it would be logical that Garrus would have something to say about Shepard's and Tali's relationship.

I always thought that was messed up that Garrus never really mentioned... Well, anything pertaining to Tali's and my Shepard's fling thing. Which sort of brings up the fact that I would like elevator scnes brought back in ME3, if only for the banter reasons. ^_^

Liara actually has two lines concerning the Tali romance at the end depending on whether or not Liara was romanced or not in the first game.

Which probably has to do with Tali's writer writing most of LotSB :P

Well kudos who did the writing for Tali, her romance felt the most natural. Although I could be biased since I am a Tali fan :P.

Let's just say that this thread will be food for thought:

That thread seems silly, its just anti-Tali people complaining about Tali having a crush on Shepard.

I can't help but think the Tali romance is the only one that feels like there's actual love (not counting the ME1 romances, and not counting FemShep - I only play ManShep as I am a guy heh) in the equation.

Jack = a quick lay

Miranda = physical relationship, maybe some caring, but from exploring the romance options (but not consummating) I can't help but feel its all physical/sex

Whereas with Tali, while like the others, it "ends" with the consummation, it feels like the characters ARE in love.

well..with Jack there is no real proof they had sex...and it was more psychological for Jack and very emotional(yes..i think this is the best romance in ME2)
  Miranda-there is attraction....and nice romance
i played fem Shep but only romanced Jacob(yea i did i am not joking) and it was well awkward
tali seems too rushed...then again all romances in ME2 seem rushed...

The problem with the romances is that they are incomplete. Mass Effect 3 will either fix any problems with them, or make them worse.

I imagine ME3 will pick up the slack with that. Unless Bioware screws up (and the only time I can recall them screwing up is allowing Obsidian to make NWN2... yes I hate NWN2 lol) ... I can't imagine the final chapter ruining what the first two games did.

Tali was a late to the party arrival in ME2 anyway since she's in the final three dossiers.

Hope the romances in ME3 are interactive. Like you can pull a Paragon or Renegade move during the scenes. Could be quite fun. =p

Plzzz someone tell me, what's the appeal of Tali?
Heck i have no friggin clue why she is even on the Normandy
since imho she is:
a) Useless in a battle / Firefight
B) Her Tech skills are moderate at best (Legion does a much better job and is an Adapt Sniper)
c) (and i know i will be Flamed for this )She;s just not that interesting
And yes i have talked to her even tried to get involved with her but i just could not go tru with it.
And after having her sort of forced upon me in ME(citadel Saren intel) and again in ME2 (you need the friggin Shield)
Since i would have Never taken her with me , just left her on the Citadel in ME.
So now she is onboard the Normandy somewhere, and just sitting there in Engineering, and i can't even be bothered to do her Loyalty mission anymore, so it basicly becomes the roll of the dice, if she survives or not.
so she won't be in ME3 in my game unless someone can convince me other
So probably no suport from the Migrant fleet or more difficult to get them to join in my ME3

sorry if i Offend anyone with this , this is not my intend, the above is just my view of Tali
just want serious answers.

EDIT: it just seems here is the best place to ask

Well we Tali fans find her most appealing qualities within her character development over the series. Her dialogue is well done, romance is pretty decent and one of the few female characters that shows beauty inside and out. As for gameplay its more or less personal preference. If you don't like Tali for close quarters or tech abilities you don't have to use her.

I know i can send her into the Vents and ****SPOILER**** she dies at the door .

But it's Unconvincing since what Idiot would stick his head out the door in the middle of a firefight ????

I don't find her useless in a firefight.

In ME2 she's one of two squadmates with the Combat Drone, the other of which you can't get until right before endgame -- I've yet to run into foes who will ignore Drones to keep firing at you.

Against mechs and geth, she can Hack, and having them shooting at each other is priceless.

Any difference between her skills and Legions is probably a matter of perception, not reality.

Now, if you don't find her interesting, that's a matter of personal preference, and you're not required to have much to do with her.

When I first played ME1, I never used her at all. Never found her that great of a character. But ME2 was the turning point for me. I'm actually going back and not having a love interest at all in ME1, so I can be completely devoted to Tali in ME2.

But as for my reason for her to be my LI was her loyalty mission. It is what did it for me. The account of treason, father dead, and being exiled to another ship, and being able to comfort her when she sees her father dead is what brough out her true emotion. Which I found very attractive, because all the other character's were kinda just nonchalant. And her nervousness and cuteness is also another reason. When you keep telling her you like her, and want to be with her, she keeps saying she would have never have expected it. And like what someone else said in a earlier post. Shepard and Tali are the only LI that seem to actually BE in love. Last factor for me is their enviormental suits. I just feel bad because their immune system sucks, and they are stuck in the suits for their life. Which makes their life almost a solitary life because they can't feel anything with their own skin

But I do understand where you're coming from, but she is the only character in the game I've seen with emotion. I hope maybe this helped you maybe like her as a character more. =D

I just don't get the desire to actively kill of characters.
