So probably no suport from the Migrant fleet or more difficult to get them to join in my ME3

just want serious answers.

Well we Tali fans find her most appealing qualities within her character development over the series. Her dialogue is well done, romance is pretty decent and one of the few female characters that shows beauty inside and out. As for gameplay its more or less personal preference. If you don't like Tali for close quarters or tech abilities you don't have to use her.

i know i don't have to use her but  most of you say  once you learn to use  her  tech skill she is very good
and as i played a lot as Tech expert i never found her that usefull
i am just curious if i missed something that you people have discovered

i agree that she has evolved  over the series
but i still don't see much  that  appeals  to me. 
right from the start of  ME1 (Hate is not the correct word) i just don't like her character that much:o

Well the reason Shepard needs to recruit Tali is pretty obvious.

Tali is one of the best hackers in the galaxy (You don't know about Legion and Kasumi is DLC) and is capable of getting into the system designed by a bunch of genocidal machines.

Shep saÿs Legion can hack thru anthing at the start of the SM and it is not being said  when you pick Tali  for the Vents

When I first played ME1, I never used her at all. Never found her that great of a character. But ME2 was the turning point for me. I'm actually going back and not having a love interest at all in ME1, so I can be completely devoted to Tali in ME2.

But as for my reason for her to be my LI was her loyalty mission. It is what did it for me. The account of treason, father dead, and being exiled to another ship, and being able to comfort her when she sees her father dead is what brough out her true emotion. Which I found very attractive, because all the other character's were kinda just nonchalant. And her nervousness and cuteness is also another reason. When you keep telling her you like her, and want to be with her, she keeps saying she would have never have expected it. And like what someone else said in a earlier post. Shepard and Tali are the only LI that seem to actually BE in love. Last factor for me is their enviormental suits. I just feel bad because their immune system sucks, and they are stuck in the suits for their life. Which makes their life almost a solitary life because they can't feel anything with their own skin

But I do understand where you're coming from, but she is the only character in the game I've seen with emotion. I hope maybe this helped you maybe like her as a character more. =D

since i believe Liara is the only one to have real emotion, more so after LotSB

Edit: just Maybe  i might try  again in my next playtrough, but .. not to Offend LI she will never be

so you can't hack  if  and have no drone (if you are no tech) but Warp and Singularity / reave can't be  beaten

True.

I haven't played LotSB yet, so I can get from what you're saying. But it was just Tali's unexpectancy of her having an interest in you when Kelly tells you and her loyalty mission.

I haven't played LotSB yet, so I can get from what you're saying. But it was just Tali's unexpectancy of her having an interest in you when Kelly tells you and her loyalty mission.

yes, i know but the Surprise as a bit too much for me , i was like WTF since i did not want to
and as i said, i feel she is "forced upon me twice" so she probably will have a significant impact on the battle / events  in ME3 or with the Migrant Fleet

but  as i said in a previous post, i might give it another chance,  in a next playthru

I thought Liara was awesome in ME and ME2, but Tali was always my fav since ME. I always found myself going down to engine room of the Normandy just to see if she had something new to say.

Lots of people have suggested "the knife!"  But I'd actually like something more along the lines of tech armor.

Seconded, I was always going down to talk to Tali. I loved listening to her talk about her culture and her heritage. Everything she had to say interested me, but Liara was the same way. I always talked to her and those two made my favorite squad. In the end though, I prefer Tali. I got more attached to her than I could with Liara.

As for the new abilities, the knife to me seems more of a self defense and last resort thing. It waas given to her by her father before her pilgrimage, making it special. That sentimentality is only amplified by his death. I would like to see some more armor and something like a shield boost such as Legion's geth shield boost. Maybe on a larger scale like an amplified version that protects the whole squad with more power.

Not a bad point.  She's already sort of a support character since most of her stuff isn't direct-damage.  Maybe creation of free-standing temporary cover?

Just curious, are the markings on Tali's suit religious in any way, or are they just for fashion? =)
