I'm sure Tali thinks the spaciousness of Shep's quarters (not to mention a freaking fish tank!) is decadent beyond belief.

I never thought about this.  Do you think it was hard for Tali to readjust to the flotilla after the comparative opulence she had on her Pilgrimage?  Or do you think she never got comfortable with said opulence to begin with?

That's great.  Somehow I didn't know about this one.

I didn't even know Urz could lose. I have to try that sometime.
He'll be alright.

you have to bet on him like three or four times to make him lose. at least, I have to do this every time. the first times he always wins.

Didn't someone write a short story about this?

She mentions that she likes the quiet on the Normandy SR2, so I'd assume the Normandy SR1 grew on her.

Somehow, I can imagine Tali sleeping in a sleeping bag next to the loud engines, so she can sleep comfortably.

A purple one that's fluffy on the inside, with a little shepard plush doll...

I don't think she got really used to it. Personally I do believe though that the silence was something she enjoyed way more than the space she had all of a sudden.

I just never even tried a pit fight because I thought it was kind of mean. But I take a perverse pleasure in blowing up pyjacks. That makes no sense at all. I HATE monkeys. With a fiery, burning, all-consuming passion. It is bizarre in it's intensity. Sorry, way OT.

Didn't Tali learn to love the quiet though?

Tali probably thinks she is the most spoiled quarian in the galaxy.

Yea, I think she fell in love with the SR1.  She seems to not be as thrilled with the SR2 but is largely because she misses people like Adams and she hates Cerberus.

She did. Her Pilgrimage was very different from that of other quarians, so her perspective on the galaxy as a whole isn't likely to be normal for a quarian.

She probably is. Dashing commander for a boyfriend, huge room, the finest weapons and nutrient paste money can buy, brand new top-of-line ship to work on, etc.

Tali also probably feels that the Normandy SR2 is a poor imitation of the original ship.

Having Cerberus logos on everything probably wouldn't help.

While other quarians have to suffer through harassments from other races just to get some place to sleep for the night.

She should really enjoy it while it lasts.

We're going to need a new paint job for ME3.

I wouldn't doubt she feels a bit guilty about it. In fact it's probably part of her drive to help her people.

Do you guys make much of the fact that those two wine glass remain in Shep's room for Tali along with everybody else, or do you just chalk it up to gameplay mechanics?  I guess what I am asking is that do you think Tali really just gets nutrient paste on the Normandy?  Doesn't the codex say the quarians splurge for new and exotic tastes when they get the chance?  And the Normandy SR2 is an excellent chance to splurge.  Surely, there must be some way they can get ahold of solid food now and again in some way that is safe.

I think we'll need more than that or would an SR3 be a bad idea?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she feels guilty about it when other quarians are working crappy jobs or fighting to survive on a 300 year old ship that could stop working at any moment.
