I romanced Tali several times..cannot resist..tooo cute. I do not exactly follow this whole "virmine survivor" and Ashley's role. On Horizon I found her (and Kaiden) rather obtruse and annoying.

Sadly, when I bought ME2, ME1 was sold-out. Got it on back-order..mebbe I'll understand this whole Tali/Ashley/Kaiden stuff after playing. For now, I find this obsession with Kaiden and Ashley DLC a bit incomprehensible. They left a seriously bad taste in ME2, I felt no sympathy for either.

I'd rather have a real bridging DLC. 'T be nice if Tali played a part in it, but it's not a necessity.....uuunless Bioware came up with an armoured suit DLC for Tali....

I don't get the obsession with the VS either. I'm not criticizing their fans, I just don't see the appeal in Ash or Kai's characters. Ash is a pro-human pro-alliance snappy person who honestly failed to impress me at every avenue. Kai is just... bleh... Liara sucked in ME1 for a variety of reasons, and actually, so did Garrus (he is about 500x more awesome in ME2 though). Tali seemed to be great consistently throughout the two games.

So yeah, I agree with you ^^

I'm sorry you feel that way. You should really play ME1. Kaidan and Ashley are really good characters. Ashley is a well-thought out and intriging female(she's no Tali, though. )

I like Kaidan, and I like Ashley. Kaidan more so, but that's a different topic.



I believe that Tali's romance is the best written and composed for male Shepard. I've played all of the romances so far. I'd say Ashley's comes in second. My two cents, and opinion.

We are still 3 costumes short..I feel ENTITLED to costume downloads for the rest of the team..and a possibility to ditch the sunglasses..whoever thought they'd be cool was prolly' trying some strange mushrooms...which brings me to the following question: Would Rannoch have fungi? And would they have the same beneficial effects for Tali and her people as our penicillin?

Mebbe, but the way she's described here, makes for a nasty xenophobe, and I have serious trouble with those. Really REALLY serious trouble.

oops..back to Tali..I wonder when the action figure will be available..  And for those"in the know" ,they should hire Hottoys Honkong to make a 12" with real cloth suit...I'd die a happy person(broke too, but that's anothern problem:P)

I was hoping mid-december, but the release-date gets shifted constantly...and I WANT MY TALI  (to paraphrase Captain Hook's  *posh accent on*  : I want my war!!)

Any idea on the fungi question? Fungi could even be the main "plantlife" on Rannoch. Spores waft with the wind..that negates the need for hairy Quarians  (Hairy Tali...eeek...)

Yup, You should read some of the older pages in this thread, where the discussion about Tali's looks under her suit, dangerously skirts full-out war.

Many good, wel researched and founded idea's, but also many "I want it like this, no discussion"

Personally, I'll take whatever Bioware comes-up with. I am curious to her real face, but I have no pre-conception of it. (Space-elf Tali -WOW-like I guess- propositions somehow really gets people fuming..dunno why..). I AM intrigued though.

I am not really with the whole space elf look myself, but this is the only rendition that caught my eye.


As for the VS thing, if/once you get ME1 you will see that Kaidan is a bro. On a side note, the Tali in my playthroughs is currently owning with a Rev
(Maybe blasphemy to some that she doesn't use her trusty shotguns lol)

revenant? I think whatever weapon one gives a character, the stats of the character will increase with every use of that particular weapon(if bioware honours the base principles of RPG-ing)

Not as fast as with the squad-points, though. My Tali is a murderous tank with her plasma shotgun, while in the beginning I was doubting it's effectiveness, due to it's charging system....no more! My goodness. She's the grim-reaper incarnated. Her A.I. has improved too. She has actually understood "taking cover when shot at"  Garrus still forgets every now&then.

Cute space-elf.. when I think about it,  the tom-boyishness actually fits Tali in an odd way.. dunno exactly why...Must be the fact that my first real girlfriend was a gearhead cutiepie.

ps with "WOW" i meant world of warcraft, not wow!, an elf! I have no particular preference for quarian "space-elves", or total aliens.
I'll let Bioware surprise me.

Well, for fear of a flame-war, I'd rather not post what I would make of Tali if I had free reign. Let's just say I'd go a lot further than "some" cybernetics, and explain her odd pretibiae in the process..... [ducks behind tactically placed crate with cerberus-logo:unsure:]

I picture her looking like Liz Sroka, most characters in ME2 are modeled off of their voice actors. Liz Sroka is cute enough to be Tali. =) She'll probably have a lighter or even darker colored skin. The eyes would be the best part. If the glow really isn't reflection, imagine her taking off her helmet and Shepard staring into her glowing, white eyes. Anyway, on another topic going on here, I've never played ME1, so I didn't get to experience what characters were like in that game. I'm only considering buying it because I don't like how the council is dead in my regular game, and everyone hates humans. =/

You should buy the first game it's really worth it! Plus Tali sounds so cute 2 years earlier (kind of like a kitten), now in ME2 she definitely sounds grown. Probably Shepards death made her maturity strengthen that much more.

I remember seeing a comic, not sure where, with Tali and Shepard about to do it, Tali takes off her helmet and Shepard doesn't like what he sees. Long story short, Shepard does her with the hemet back on.

Only characters worth noting in ME1 imo is everyone except Ashley and Kaidan. I didn't care much at all for either of them in the first game.
