Just read that one in your sig, I shall proceed to read the others, is there a chronology to your fanfic?

The links at the bottom of Hero show them in chronological order (they were written all out of order).

Nevermind, here they are:

Origin>Hero>Loss>Friendship>Hole>Quarian>Over>Report>Night>Many>Ready>Earthborn>
Apart>Warrior>Together>Passing

Thankyou very much. I saw the links, I was just wondering if that was the chronolgical order. I'm looking forward to reading them!

Sorry for interupting but have been a lurking. Follwed link from Budda's last post and read all of his works. Masterworks, each and every last one of them, Thank you for making an otherwise average evening evening entertaining. You sir deserve a Tali shaped award for awsomeness.

I recent thread has given me an idea. Do any of you think that Tali is a horrible leader who gets people killed?

Yes, Tali is a horrible leader.

"No, Prazza, you're working for me. If you can't follow orders, go wait on the ship." Establishes her position as leader here. Annnnd five seconds later...

"Prazza and his squad rushed on ahead. I told them to wait, but they wouldn't listen."

Their deaths weren't directly her fault, but from another angle, it's her job to keep her people in line, and becasue she failed at that, they got clowned by a YMIR Mech.

Not directly her fault, but still...

Yup. Tali is awesome in pretty much every way, except for this. Honestly, she sucks as a leader which is why I find all the talk about her becoming an admiral total bs. Getting her people killed on Haestrom, and before that, having her team essentially mutiny and get themselves killed. Not good.

I'm guessing Tali got those leader positions because of her father and kept on getting them because of him.

I think the admiralty board sent her to Freedoms Progress to die when that failed they sent her to Hastrom thinking they had a guaranteed death for her. Perhaps they already knew about the Aleri they assumed her dad was dead and killing her off would result in an easy clean up of the geth and no one would know about the ship that was until Shep came along with her.

She's not a leader I think she prefers a followers role her personality screams I like to fallow orders rather then make them.

Pretty much. I liked it better when she was useful in combat and when that quality exemplified her for me.

Well, not everyone can be great leaders, especially when they have to deal with unreliable people like Prazza. I think the fact that Tali is not a good leader makes her personality more imperfect and therefore more realistic.

She establishes her authority, but I think that Cerberus has a nasty past with quarians, and it was more due to the Cerberus issue that Prazza rushed on ahead. On the flotilla, Tali seems to be a very well respected individual, and she had many who were shocked that she was being put on trial.
It's a shame really, because I thought Prazza had a really sexy accent, but he was the reckless one in the end. Tali isn't a natural leader, but she does what needs to get done.

Ah... despite the wonkiness of time moving at the speed of plot in the game, her father couldn't have been dead at the time of Freedom's Progress or Haestrom.  Since, um, he sends her to Haestrom and then sends Shep an e-mail after her resuce.

But I'll agree with the second statement, sure.  The corollary being that she likes leaders.

And, since Prazza came up, I figure I'll mention that if anyone likes fanfic, they can read an... alternate explanation of Prazza and Freedom's Progress in Noir Tali is Noir.

The caption on the next page should make it clear.

C'mon, dude.  It's been a year since the game was released, and that art book came with the Collector's Edition.  You honestly think you're the first person to have "discovered" the big secret?

Because Tali and Thane's concepts are in the same double page of the artbook.

It still wouldn't make any sense considering according to you they put art work of another species on the quarian page. Tell me why they would do that?

I'm not a layout editor.  Maybe they wanted the art in there, and couldn't fit it on the other page.

But I can read.  The caption on the next page talks about drell concepts.
