I do, except for the helmet and the belt. I like the colors too.

That makes me think about ME3. Dunno if this question have already been discussed here: will they build up a different version of her suit, or stick to the current one?

This question has been raised quite a few times. I think it really depends on the time gap between the two games. Logic tells me that because of the bridging content (and the fact that the squad will all be on your ship during said content) and the fact that it seems like the transition between ME2 and 3 is going to be much smoother than the one from 1 to 2, Tali's suit will not change. The entire crew seems geared for war after the SM (Joker's "calm before the ****storm", Grunts "I have a battlemaster, enemies to fight, etc") and I firmly believe that ME3 will take place right after 2.



So bottom line, same suit. Maybe more customization options further than just two color schemes.

I hope you're right. I expect some aestitic changes, like something heavier as the Cerberus pajamas for Miranda and Jacob, a not broken armor for Garrus and maybe some little upgrades for Tali too, other than that, I'm with you at 100%

I think that Tali's armour looks a lot cooler than in the first game however, and it is cool that she is distinguished from all other quarians with her armour style.

The broken armor on Garrus doest really an awesome bad**s effect, but going on the battlefield with equipment not in perfect conditions is quite odd, imo. Also, let's say that at least a few months between ME2 and 3 will pass, or that will be something like Shepard and the crew arrested like many people, included me, say that would be an interesting beginning ... than Shep' and the team will have necessary to re-equip with new armors and so on. Tali will be the one easier to keep her actual outfit (toghether with Legion, ironically) but she might take some damages eventually that will force her do some emergency repairs like the metallic arm coverage she has in ME1...

Yep, her suit is really well designed and very funny to draw. The idea of keeping the cloth like it's something important to her is also very smart.

I meant I was disappointed about  her "loyal costume", like the other character's ones. The first time I played I was very excited about unlocking different costumes, only to find out those simple recolors. (But I think that's definitely an old discussion, isn't it?)

In all honesty they made a lot of changes to Tali between the two games. Her hood was changed, her entire suit design was changed. 

EDIT: oops are you referring to the customization? In that case ignore.

It focuses much on how you appreciate her for her physical attributes, but not in a respectful manner. Objectifying her, really.

That's why I always found it offensive, though it was Woo who laid down the rule against "dat" anything.

Ah, but it's only a joke to those who were around when it started. Anyone else coming along afterwards only will see the objectification of a character. This is the danger of cliquish jokes.

Well, using the middle finger isn't exactly an insult across all human cultures. Sometimes it's the pointer finger. Sometimes it's the left palm. Not sure what the equivalent for a quarian would be.

I read a fanfic once where the person wrote that a krogan was insulting you depending on which eye he was focusing on your, leftward or rightward facing. I imagine the worst insult a salarian could give someone is to be monosyllabic. 

I liked snarky Tali. The weight of the universe has taken its toll on her.
