Depends on when we get the next DLC. Surely they've reached/reaching a point where VAs need to be called in to start recording dialogue for ME3. They can record dialogue for DLC at the same time. Or perhaps someone was forward thinking this time and said "hey, say random **** you think your character might say" as a go-to VO filler for future DLC.

This fills me with hope. I think one of the few small downfalls about LotSB is that whoever else you took along was a mute. And if you romanced Tali, and then did your divebomb to save Liara instead of her, then I think she may be slightly peeved Posted Image. Especially if you had a history with Liara Posted Image.
If the next DLC follows the same timeframe as DA:O, then we may have another character based DLC, and a little one with armour/weapons or something. Maybe an alternative appearance pack where Tali forgot her helmet Posted Image.
Or maybe not? I suspect it wil be a VS DLC however, I don't think Horizon added up, and that something happened to them while Shepard was dead.
Definately not a Tali DLC though, we will have to wait for ME3 for her.

It's too bad Tali didn't do that. That would have been awesome!

My friends and I tried to make the video story. This video connected with romantic stories in the game. In this plot three stories: Liara, Tali, Ashley. Still, the most "romantic" variant was connected with the history of Tali. It is no accident.

Tali - the most "romantic" character in the game.

As for the knife, various theories exist. Basic utility, heritage (say, a gift from her father), and potentially CQC.

Quarians are trained in close quarter combat as they are used to being on ships. The shields in Mass Effect are only effective aganst high velocity projectiles, it wouldn't help against being stabbed with a knife.

Note that in Mass Effect 1 if you were hit by a melee then your health dropped regardless of your shield levels. Then in Mass Effect 2 they changed the way health worked for some idiotic reason.

So I was reading Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee In King Aurthur's Court the other day, and one of the characters was calling another one a "bosh," as he said/did something absurd. I was like,"Bosh... bosh'tet. Hmmmm...."

So I looked it up on the internet

–noun

absurd or foolish talk; nonsense.

So I guess a bosh'tet is like a person or thing that is foolish?

Why not? Sounds nice to me. :)
Peaceful years in Rannoch are certainly something to strive for.

Totally agree.

As for Tali's knife...It would be nice if in ME3 she have a Shadow strike skill similar to Kasumi's. Tali's a master engineer, she could develop a cloaking app for her suit :P

Knives are useful tools. Cutting, stripping, prying, hammering (with the hilt)... all useful to an engineer. Plus it makes her look like a badass. ;)

Hmm. You all may be right. Of course Tali looks awesome with it, I just wanted know exactly why she had one. Too bad she never uses it.

Tali to use her knife in ME3! I have a couple of swords, but I feel obliged to get a knife now...

So there is a mod where Tali is in place of Shepard, do they have that for every squadmate then? I know they have for Garrus, Thane and Legion.

I think that when she has her conflict with Legion, that that would be a prime time for Tali to withdraw her knife. Although, I do love the Tali/Legion cutscene, especially when it's played on the trailer. Just epic!

I've seen the final Tali romance scene with Legion as Shepard, along with Garrus, I think. I wish Tali had a CQC scene.

I mean I've seen Legion instead of Shepard in the removing of Tali's mask scene, and I may (I don't remember where) have seen Garrus in that same scene. Here's a link to to part of the Tali/Legion scene:

Yeah but there's one massive flaw in your logic, Runescapeguy, if they were supposedly all trained in close quarter combat, why are their shields not more powerful. I would expect Tali to have some of the strongest shields in the game, since her style of fighting is charging in with a shotgun. I guess that her energy drain power does account for that though (and this HAS made Tali useful on insanity, believe it or not), but you'd think the Marines would be better armored if they were all trained in this fighting style.

...you played me1 right?

That wasn't really a 'Tali' thing; I played an engineer (which was alot of fun actually, seriously underrated class in both ME1 and 2) and my shield capacity was prodigeous too. It makes alot of sense for Tali though, and I *think* she might have more shields than others in ME2. That or her loyalty skill is designed to compensate. As I mentioned before, it's actually a *really* nasty skill if you use it properly.
