I love this picture.
Back to Talimance.....the part about Tali's father being a hard military man reminds me of Smallville when Clark had to prove himself to Loius's father, who was a General. And what it eventually boiled down to in that case was Loius unknowlingly had to prove to her father it's want he wanted and was the one for her. Not sure Tali's father would be so understanding underneath the exterior as osspose to what he might show on the surface. I think his daughter's happiness in the end would have eventually silenced him. Especially if Shepard lived up to the man he'd want for Tali. The Cerberus connection would have indeed made it very hard, especially to the quarian people to accept.
Cerberus coffin....no Tali would hate the thought I am sure. But it might not have mattered since she died fighting for a cause she believed in. More importantly, as she pointed out, she was doing it for Shepard. I think that is all that mattered to her ultimately. That she was with Shepard.

By the way, was it just me who thought it was kinda evil to bury Tali in a damn Cerberus coffin if she dies in the final mission?
Thought the same thing some days ago
(and then I realized that it would be REALLY demotivational if Shepard, exploring the new Normandy after the beginning, finds the room with all the empty coffins...)
PS:
Does anyone know which color quarian blood is?

If a squad mate dies on the mission, their body stays there with the base. The living must stay focused on the mission, and leave the bodies to be vaporized when you destroy/purge the base. The coffins are just ceremonial.Nodscouter wrote...

bioluminescent eyes
Nope.
Her eyes obviously glow. It is plainly visible. Either they are bioluminescent or they are cybernetically enhanced. Either way, they are lambent.
EDIT: Unless the glow is painted onto her helmet... Odd idea that.
This.
If a Quarian is ever shown without a mask, he or she should either have bioluminescent or cybernetic eyes. That much you can clearly see through the mask, and anything else would be a major retcon.
If you like Tali as a character you should like the character for who she is, not for who you want the character to be.

Your opinion is not fact. Get over it. They will make it into whatever they want to. Real world logic would have reflectivity as the most likely but this is a game.Aedan_Cousland wrote...

It is fact right now.
You can see it clearly through the mask, just as you can see bone structure similar to a human face. Sure, Bioware could retcon her appearance and give her human eyes. They could also give her eyes like Thane's, a pig snout, and six arms, but as of right now she clearly has white eyes with a luminescent quality.

The only thing you can see through her mask is light where her eyes are. This is a game limitation. The light is obviously coming from her eyes now, but that is because thats the easiest way to convey emotion. You can't say for certain where the source is.Aedan_Cousland wrote...

Sidenote: Check definition of retcon.

The white light is coming from her face, not the face mask.
Also if it was some feature of the mask you'd only see the white 'eyes' masking her eyes when looking at her face dead on. When looking at an angle you'd see her eyes behind the white eyes on the mask. And if looking at Tali from the side if you saw the white eyes at all, it would only be a silver.
Sure, Bioware could make it that she was wearing some sort of contact lens that performs some function or other, but that would be fairly ridiculous since she's also forced to wear an enviroment suit. She'd have no way of getting to them unless back on the Migrant Fleet.
Giving her anything but white eyes would be a retcon just as it would be a retcon to have her show up in ME3 with four fingers and a thumb on each hand.

This is both right and wrong. In the romance scene you can see the mask is clearly creating light, but you are right, the light is coming from the position of her eyes.Aedan_Cousland wrote...

This isn't crysis. They can't get realistic graphics on the unreal engine. Also if it was some feature of the mask you'd only see the white 'eyes' masking her eyes when looking at her face dead on. When looking at an angle you'd see her eyes behind the white eyes on the mask. And if looking at Tali from the side if you saw the white eyes at all, it would only be a silver.
What would this solve? The suit itself has built in functions to improve hearing and such, visual accuity is not a stretch as well. Agreed.Sure, Bioware could make it that she was wearing some sort of contact lens that performs some function or other, but that would be fairly ridiculous since she's also forced to wear an enviroment suit.
Retroactive continuity refers to changing established fact. There is no fact to change. Nothing has been confirmed. All we can see if a variety of lights inside of the facemask and lights where Tali's eyes are for emotion. Call me a boring realist if I want my explanation to make sense, but having a flashlight where you are capturing light would be detrimental to sight.Giving her anything but white eyes would be a retcon just as it would be a retcon to have her show up in ME3 with four fingers and a thumb on each hand.

Shiny eyes do not mean bioluminescant eyes. Bioluminescance is something completely different. Personally, I believe she may have shiny eyes, but it doesn't matter.

Indeed.
While I do personally hope their eyes are shiny (like they appear to be) I honestly won't be all that bothered if they are not.

Ty.
I'll side with the non-bioluminescent side, although I do not care much about that...
I'm wondering how Tali will be introduced in ME3 if you romanced her, and if she's going to have a better working station on the Normandy. That console is pretty anonymous.

Her workplace is okay for me... it was almost the same she had on SR1... but this time she's the leading Engineer
About her introduction in ME3, I guess things can go in 2 ways... if there's something like the ME2's beginning (meaning that something like a battle or an attack will happen, NOT ship/team wrecking) probably there will be a sequence where the ME2's LI goes to find Shepard and it will be the same for everyone, like happened with Liara and Ash. If for some reasons we'll have to rescue/rectruit again her then I expect a very emotional moment, especially considering that she can't simply push her tongue in Shepard's mounth in the moment they'll meet like Liara does, so she'll have to say something sweet or show some kind of emotions for reuniting with Shep.

Heh, a naughty Tali would probably choose that workplace 'cause it's easy to lean and catch Shepard's attention, I guess...
Yeah, you're probably right. I cannot wait to see how ME3 begins :|
