I dunno, accents are quite easy to pick up when you start speaking in that accent. I will pay more attention to Tali's accent in ME1 on my next playthrough then...
As for that collector, I think you're right, he is just in some sort of hallucinating love stupour after Tali kicked his ass and tackled him. He loved it!

My only possible disappointment is that so far it seems to simply be a reskin.
But it remains to be seen if it's just a texture change, as this is just a promotional shot.
Either way, I appreciate that they gave Tali armor/etc, even when she didn't need it.

@callum: It's the new AA pack, and can be seen from xbox.com. According to one (seemingly reliable) website, the 2nd alternate appearance pack is to be released every february.

Finally some armor-like outfits.  All non-armored characters need them.

Tali's gonna look good no matter what her suit looks like.  The more metallic look will be interesting though

The character I am playing now is a heartless **** and it is so hard for me to be unfriendly to Tali.  It's the only time I don't enjoy playing her.  But it would be totally out of character if she was too nice to people, no matter who they are.  Oh the pain LOL

I don't think the shades/visor on Miranda's outfit works but the rest of it all looks pretty cool from what we can see.

I imagine in the romance scene with Tali that it'd now be pretty painful to be pounced on by a woman in armour.

Well I would think she took off the suit when the "pouncing on her" was to occur LOL And then put it back on when they were finished. I highly doubt they did it through the suit. Tali wanted to feel Shepard's skin on her own.

Well, Grunt looks even more badass. I like that one. I am also glad that Bioware listened and gave Miranda some proper armour. I think bullet proof spandex was a bit too far-fetched even in sci-fi. It looks pretty good, like machines are us said, I don't really like the visor.

Tali's armour looks pretty cool, I like the metallic look, but I hope she keeps the cloth material over her hips. That looks cool.

The picture above looks awesome too, I always saw her skin tone as a sort of purple colour, probably because of the helmet cover though.

Well, there are many quarians with black and blue coloured glasses in their faceplace... I don't think it can be taken as indication of her possible skintone. Considering that she spend her whole life in a suit, with her skind away from natural light and so I expect that she has a very pallid or faded skintone, more than a purle or anyway very colorful tone.

I meant in the romance scene. He removes her mask, and she pounces on him while kissing. It's one thing to have that when they are wearing the equivilant of a Hazmat suit, and quite another when she is wearing a few extra kilos of metal plating.

haha yeah that occured to me too.  Shepard might say something like "you're heavy, take that suit off first" Due to the added weight of the armor plating.  Not to mention the stiffness of the metal might hurt a bit.

I can't believe you can actually do that. I mean, I started a new playthrough where I was going for full Renegade. COMPLETELY collapsed when I met Tali and Garrus. Goddamnit, it's just impossible to be evil to them.

Also, going to have to agree on that ''Tali's gonna look good no matter what her suit looks like'', but I actually prefer her regular suit. Then again, we'll see how that armoured suit looks in-game.

So far it seems just to be a recolor, but I like the armor suit for Tali. Probably keep it on her myself, at least for missions. I'm hoping they've added something to the model instead of just the texture.

I did say it was really hard, because Tali is my favorite.  On the same note, instead of talking Wrex down with the renegade option, my current character just hit him of the head and shot him three times with her shotgun because from her standpoint....he was in the way.  Heartless like I said.  That character has been interesting to play and is very different from my others.  I believe in playing "in-character" and that's how I can do it....but hell man, with Tali it's still painful.  She's just so cuddly and sweet, you hate to break her heart.    

I remember my first character was romancing Liara, which was before I knew you could romance Tali in ME2.  I get the info Tali is interested and the convo comes up.  I hated turning her down but it was unlike that character to cheat.  So I made up for it with my second character and didn't romance anyone before Tali.

Now would be appropriate to post Shazzhammer's Tali mech suit... but I don't have it
