Steampunk one is missing a toe. I don't blame him for not getting the legs correct because he at least put some effort into getting them right.Sergeant Conley wrote...
The legs/feet don't look quite right, from what I remember, but that's a pretty cool picture.

From what I gather, the Quarians must have been incredibly prosperous society before the invention of the geth. When you get to the point that you think it prudent to build robots in your own image, where you think you're a God, your society has reached its apex and is likely to fall from there. The more I think about it, you can definitely parallel the Quarians with the Roman Empire, especially seeing as the Quarians downfall was from the inside.

Tali's gonna look good no matter what her suit looks like. The more metallic look will be interesting though
The character I am playing now is a heartless **** and it is so hard for me to be unfriendly to Tali. It's the only time I don't enjoy playing her. But it would be totally out of character if she was too nice to people, no matter who they are. Oh the pain LOL
I can't believe you can actually do that. I mean, I started a new playthrough where I was going for full Renegade. COMPLETELY collapsed when I met Tali and Garrus. Goddamnit, it's just impossible to be evil to them.
I did say it was really hard, because Tali is my favorite. On the same note, instead of talking Wrex down with the renegade option, my current character just hit him of the head and shot him three times with her shotgun because from her standpoint....he was in the way. Heartless like I said. That character has been interesting to play and is very different from my others. I believe in playing "in-character" and that's how I can do it....but hell man, with Tali it's still painful. She's just so cuddly and sweet, you hate to break her heart.![]()
I remember my first character was romancing Liara, which was before I knew you could romance Tali in ME2. I get the info Tali is interested and the convo comes up. I hated turning her down but it was unlike that character to cheat. So I made up for it with my second character and didn't romance anyone before Tali.
Ah yes, ''Liara''. It's hard not to cheat on her when you have Tali as a romance option. Not that I tried to resist of course.
And besides, I shot down Wrex too, but all the same, I really couldn't do anything bad to Garrus or Tali.

There's a lot of representation of the theme of people taking technology and science (or otherwise mishandling them) too far in Mass Effect. The quarians seem to be an example.
And what does Tali think? She calls the geth a mistake.

The quarians made contact with the Citadel back around 0AD, so they've got at least 2000 years as spacefarers. Presumably they were/are very advanced. I should note that their ancestor-data images doesn't appear to have been replicated, at least until that CDN ghost ship thing.TheNexus wrote...

On the other hand, the geth aren't really in the quarians' image. The heads are obviously different, as are the feet. And they were never intended to be anything more than dumb labor, not synthetic life.

Very true.
That they became anything resembling life was completely unintended.

Basically, it was an ME3-ish scene, where Tali finally revealed her face to you (the player) and keeping in mind that she was your primary LI, she revealed she was dying and you had to make a choice between (at that moment, not sure how far into the game) going with her to spend whatever time was left with her or launching what was ultimately going to amount to a DEFINITE suicide mission to take back the earth from the reapers, with her of course influencing you to save your people (she didn't believe it was so suicidal and was sure you could make it back in time to see her again). The catch was if you didn't do the mission right then, all hope for the earth would be lost and the rest of your team, who were already stuck on earth fighting the reapers, would be dead too.
This tore me up a bit lol

Tali's finally getting the AA treatment. Sadly, this pic doesn't give us a lot to go on.
Though, the page where that image came from was a Japanese description for the Firepower pack.
And it shows up on everything else that's available on that site.
But, it can be a AA pack for Tali instead of some photoshopped image. Or at least I hope so.

Why happy ending have to be boring? It would be really so unsatisfing for someone if after fought the reapers and probably lost some good friends (I guess we have to expect some losses) Shepard has a chance to go away and live in peace with a certain quarian girl? I still think that I wanna see multiple choices for ending too, but I'll be a lot more disappointed if there isn't at least one happy ending scenario.
Well yes, there will most likely a myriad of different endings, but if there isn't at least one ''spend your life with Tali'' ending I will be very surprised.
I vote that if there isn't an ending like that, we torch bioware.
Fer teh lulz.

It's funny though. Despite my current character's ****y attitude she will still hug Tali on her loyalty mission. So I guess not totally heartless. Or maybe I just can't resist that one interrupt. Not like they give you a choice when you meet Liara on Illium. Rommie wasn't friendly with Liara in ME1, I don't see why she'd hug Liara in ME2. <_< But if Liara deserved the "auto-hug" then Tali deserved a "real-hug".

I'd want sort of a multi-choice ending like in the last two games, only this time if you had a LI it would be included in the possible outcomes. I know I want my second character to have a happy ending with Tali.
