The legs/feet don't look quite right, from what I remember, but that's a pretty cool picture.

Steampunk one is missing a toe. I don't blame him for not getting the legs correct because he at least put some effort into getting them right.

I was actually referring to the sketch of Tali climbing down the ladder-thing with her feet on the pipes. I went and found some artwork of Tali to double-check my memory against, and the shin/knee area doesn't quite match.

That being said, it's a cool image, and my muse can't help but conjure a reason as to why she is wherever she is. Maybe Shepard's voice is coming through her COM, asking for a SitRep because they don't have much time left?

Full-body shots.

Looks like just a recolor for Tali, but it's got some interesting detailing.  I'd have to see it in-game to really judge, I think.  It doesn't seem as garish as the yellow belts in her loyalty outfit, at least.

Edit:  Hi-res pic.

Looking at the hi-res pic, it appears we're getting the assault-armor Tali that many wanted. The metal chest-piece is "riveted" down the middle onto a ridged underlayer. The knee-pads have reinforcements underneath. It also seems to feature hip-armor. For protecting important assets.

Edit:  The hexagon theme from her suit is gone.

The purple swirl pattern is also absent. In place of it, a rather boring pattern of slightly curved lines in what is that? Grey?

This looks more like the work of a modder, why would BioWare change the pattern that has been a part of Tali even in ME1?

I'm glad that Tali has heavier armor. I was wondering why she would be a Close-Quarters-Combat specialist wearing little light armor.

I'd imagine it's designed to make the cloth look sleeker in line with her sleek, armored envirosuit.

Personally, I think it looks great.

Tali's hood always had cuvred lines, not swirls.

@JeanLuc761. The suit looks good but still, why change what is a standard in her cloth? Even the bogus Cerberus alternate suit had the correct pattern.

@PseudoEthnic. No, it has swirls.

It had definite spirals, actually.

Edit:  Long time no see, Cal.

I like Tali's new metallic style, but I preferred her hood and the cloth wrapped around her hips as it was before. Both the colour and the pattern.

I'm happy that Bioware listened about Miranda though. Spandex repelling bullets just doesn't fit.

Jack, however, can just snarl at the bullets and they will dissipate.

The announcement mentioned Tali had like a HUD, so maybe we'll actually see that when we talk to her with that appearance selected. Sort of how that one visor from the Dr Pepper that increases your shields has all those read outs in it and still remain see through.

I was hoping Tali would have more armor on her legs that but it is still nice to see her get some lovin'.

I agree about Miranda....not sure there's any hope for Jack anyway.  Kinda like Thane, I couldn't really see him in armor, but like Miranda, Jacob doesn't have an excuse.

There's something that looks like bullet cases running along her forearm. Was that always there?

Yeah that was always there.  Other quarians have it too.  Kinda like a bullet belt but going down their arm.

AA packs just luuuurve visors! (Or 80s shades.) That means that all the Alternate Appearances have visors. Wow.

I bet the devs are chortling away at this. Even Tali gets a new visor? Amazing. Simply amazing.

And yeah, what is it about the relfective HUD thing?

That's what I thought, too. :) Surely that give them some laughs. Fortunately, there is very little to obscured by Tali's new visor.
