LOLZ! Well, it's still cool, though.

And people were only joking that Tali get one too and she got it.

Not that is a bad thing but really weird.

@JeanLuc761. The suit looks good but still, why change what is a standard in her cloth? Even the bogus Cerberus alternate suit had the correct pattern.

@PseudoEthnic. No, it has swirls.

Ah good to see you Calinstel! A little of topic but i just wana say great job on the fanfic. I just finished Alliances and it trully was riveting stuff and i'm lookng foward to book 3! Nice work Posted Image

Back on topic, its a shame it looks like they have change the patten type on her hood  ''Realk'' but im still happy with the overall look. I will be picking this up when it is released.

I like the pattern change, in context of the fact that they could have just recolored things.

Yeah, I love the pattern on her hood and the material over her hips.

And Collider, I can envisage them now in their visor obsessed frenzy, waving various eyepieces around and modelling them on all the characters. I love how we picked up on Tali's additional visor immediately!

I just noticed the lack of swirls. I'm going to miss them.

The HUD is seemingly popular. But doesn't Tali have enough lights inside her helmet without adding more? Not that I'm complaining of course. Still will be interesting.

Well I guess Tali's vision is going to be even more accurate as the eyepiece will work with the helmet's already enhanced vision!

She is going to be like a raptor

I really wonder if that visor will be more or as noticeable in-game.

Probably. When Tali's head is taking up the whole screen, we all shall look at it in all its glory!

I'm still wondering about those purple dots on her in the high res picture. Are those like glitters/glowy stuff or is it just bad image quality - if it's bad quality, then why do Miranda and Grunt don't have them. o,o

Call me a devil's advocate, but it looks more like a glitch in the texturing or something to me. I mean, yeah the announcement thread mentions she has a HUD in her visor now, but that kinda seems like something she would've had anyway.

Har har har... More fuel for my "glowing eyes" theory! She didn't have a HUD until now.

Chris Priestly wrote...

Tali’s envirosuit gets an upgrade, armoring her delicate torso and projecting a heads-up-display on the inside of her visor. Being hermetically sealed from all contamination has never looked so good!

Alternate Appearance Pack 2 – Because it’s time to put the “war” back in “wardrobe.

Win! =D

Seriously?  You're taking anything Priestly says as truth?

Anyway, they've had HUDs all along.  Ascension went on about how the visors provided all kinds of image enhancement.

Nooooooooooo! Stop bursting my bubbles! D=

Anyways I have not read the ME books. I tend to have bad experiences with novels based on games. Less than movies based on games mind you, but still bad. The ones I have read kinda messed with established lore.

The ME novels may not do that, but I never wanted to risk it until I heard positive things about them from people who actually care about lore as opposed to simply shooting things.

Believe me, the only reason I read Ascension was for the possibility of more details on quarians.  And that's probably the only reason a person would read it.  It had a couple cool characters otherwise, but that was about it.

Its funny because that was essentially the only reason I read it. Imo it was better than Revelation though.

SPOILERS

Also, looking back, I find it kind of odd that  Tali is not even mentioned in Ascension. Considering a large portion of it took place on the flotilla and Tali is likely one the most famous Quarians in recent history.

The way I see it as this:  there are 17 million quarians in the Flotilla.  That's like a major city.  In a city, the mayor's daughter might be famous, but she's not going to be brought up in the course of the average criminal investigation or business deal or whatever, even if it's just idle chatter.

The novel wasn't about her.  I didn't find the absence striking.  (not to say that she wouldn't have been a welcome appearance in it.  Heh.)

There's also the case that there is some variability regarding Tali's pilgrimage. Shepard may or may not have given her the geth data. I assume that Tali getting the data would have made the pilgrimage faster.

did all tali fans choose to have a relationship with her? or did you just like talking to her and going on missons and just having her apart of your crew

Not all Tali fans romance her. Some have male Shepards who romance someone else, some have female Shepards who befriend Tali. It's all good.
