I think they're more acting on what they can gain personaly sometimes.

Well that was essentially what the trial was. They were using Tali for their own agendas. I assume that Korris was behind it all, but I'm not sure. May have been Gerrel too.

And Xen. That little plan of hers to take over the geth with help from Rael's research and all.

True, but Omega still seems like a really bad idea.  Tali picked the Citadel and it worked out for her, well, Shadow Broker incident aside, but that was because she had the data on Saren and not specifically because she was a quarian.

Tali went to the Citadel specifically to try to sell her captured data.  A better example of a quarian who went there looking for work is Lia'Vael.

Hmm, that is true.  Where do you suppose she was when she caught that geth and got its memory core?

Scary and really, really funny.  I really hope those darn quarians will actually listen to Tali and Shep in ME3.  They could be heading for some really nasty places if they aren't careful.

Heh.  Instead of counselling peace, I just told the Admiralty I was helping "one of my people."  I'm so selfish.

Somewhere in the path of the geth incursion, apparently.  I don't think it's ever said specifically.

I think she says she was somewhere where new Geth activity was popping up. If I recall correctly she went there out of her own desire for scientific inquiry. Quite unfortunate for Saren that she did.

I wish we could say both. I certainly hope, given that we can't, that what we say there (whether for or against peace, or neither) doesn't effect ME3 too much.

I wonder if Saren ever connected the dots about Tali and the quarian on Shepard's team.

They got the message, you defended your girl. And that's all that matters.

I hope they've learned to not hide a trial's true purpose behind a quarian risking getting exiled. Especially one of the best.

There was a lot of joking about this in the past.

Someone even rewrote "Hellfire" to be Saren singing about Tali.  It was hilarious.

I thought you could say both. Have memory of doing so, but I suppose it could be false.

"That quarian got away. What's that? Shepard recruited a quarian on the Citadel just a few blocks form where the other one made her escape? And they're of the same gender and have a metallic arm? Probably just a coincidence."

I think it's triggered if you don't talk to the admirals before going to the Alarei.

It's the paragon choice that has nothing to do with war or peace.

My Shep doesn't say a thing there because she knows she is wasting her breath.  I just hope the quarians are more willing to listen in ME3 is all I mean.

I would think so. Given all of the foreshadowing. the LotSB DLC even foreshadowed being able to retake Rannoch for Tali.

Ah, politics...how tiresome.

The Admiralty Board aren't the only ones who needs to start taking things seriously.

Ah yes "politics" supposidly the art of governing the masses as effectivly as possible.
We have dismissed that claim.

I think there is a decent chance they will listen to Tali at least so Tali is the one I have been chiseling on.

Gerral and Raan would likely listen to Tali. Korris may need some convincing, and Xen...I don't know what to think about her.

But Tali has told them about the Reapers since Korris or Han mentions needing a Homeworld to shield their non-combatants from them.

Well, Shepard can get the lot of them Xen included to acquit Tali so there is some promise in that I guess.  I always assumed that decision had to be unanimous.  It certainly implies that they all acquited her given their guilted out body language.

I do have a question. If Han was so connected to Tali by her father then why was he allowed to make a judgment at the trial? Shouldn't he have been removed from it like Raan?

Maybe it's because they can't have just two voters. Duh...

I don't think they were as close as Raan was.  I think Han and Rael were more "work" friends if that makes sense while Raan was actually a family friend.  I'd think work friends would be pretty standard with quarians given how communal they are and if that was a big deal, the whole Admiralty Board would likely have to recuse themselves if they were trying another Admiral's daughter which wouldn't be practical.  It just happened that Han was dead and Xen was kinda new.

And I know this is OT but isn't it weird that Xen is an admiral but nobody seems to know jack crap about her? How does such a person ever become an admiral in the first place?

if u save that quarian from that planet scan mission, will she show up in Tali's loyalty mission?

EDIT: And if the quarian does show up, does she say anything?
