The way I see it as this:  there are 17 million quarians in the Flotilla.  That's like a major city.  In a city, the mayor's daughter might be famous, but she's not going to be brought up in the course of the average criminal investigation or business deal or whatever, even if it's just idle chatter.

Oh, no doubt. I didnt expect the book to in anyway focus on the character. However, Tali being part of the squad that saved the galaxy.. seems like it would likely be discussed somewhat in their society. What I mean is, im just surprised she wasnt even mentioned. Even by the human characters who evidently didnt know much about the Quarians and as such Tali probably would have been the only specific Quarian they would know about.

The nature of being able to have any number of Shepards makes this sort of a moot point.  Some are more zealous about the romance than others.

Will be? No one here can say for certain, but I find it unlikely.
Is romanceable? No, she is not romanceable by female Shepard.

Well again, you'd think they may try to avoid some of the more variable aspects of what happened in ME1. Tali's pilgrimage and how Shepard saved the galaxy are two examples.

I agree that it may have been nice to get a mention.



On Tali's image among the Flotilla, one thing that surprised me a bit (at the time) were those quarians during Tali's loyalty mission who were quick to condemn her. I couldn't help but be reminded about what Tali said about being treated differently due to being an admiral's daughter.

I've done VF before so I know how to nail the layout, PM is more dificult as they tend to use more lanscape-esk covert art. Will be interesting to do.

JL's work is very good.  I'd advise against the AAP image since it's got those weird blue dots that might be some kind of image artifact.

Near I can tell, one year ago on this day the first incarnation of the Tali Thread on these forums was created after the release of ME2 by Gay Warden. Happy anniversary, Tali fans!!!

It's been a year, and I still support her return in ME3 as a squadmate and LI. As far I as I'm concerned, my Shep and her have unfinished business.

That is so true.

Garrus should be squatemate again too after all Tali, Sheard and him are good friends, you shouldn't break up such a good team.

I also wonder if they are going to change her suit again, in ME3.

As a gift for the group, the first two chapters of my Talific, Farewell, home, are up now on my blog: here's the prologue and here's the first part. It's mostly about Tali spending some time on the Rayya after the trial, but Shepard gets some screen time as well. If you happen to read it, please post some comments, as it's my first fic and I'd like to know how I did.

I won't be able to participate in the main forums, but I'll be keeping an eye out for some new pics that might get published.
