Looks like there is indeed something in the visor.

Where did you get that pic? I thought the Appearance Pack 2 wasn't released yet.

Apparently Bioware uploaded it to their Facebook or Twitter page. I forget which.

MadMapper likes the new outfit. That visor display seems nothing special, though...

I'm still thinking that "visor" is just the HUD, since it was specifically noted that it was at least the first visible HUD for her.

Ah, so this HUD they made a great deal of seeing is the visor? Bioware are gonna have a reputation for putting visors on everyone. I can see visors adorning the helmets of Hawke, Varrik and all them right now...

I don't have a Twitter or Facebook account, so I didn't know.

The texture of the back of her hand/upper arm looks kinda rubberized. I wonder how that looks in play.

Yes, the whole arm seems to be covered by some kind of leather instead of her normal veil.

Ok, about the visor display, I kinda mispelled. I meant the HUD.

That "leather" looks good, however.

I like the metallic texture, and the armour looks more protective than her other one, but I still prefer the purple colour. But I will def get the AA pack 2, wasn't so keen on the shades of the first one (love Jack's eyes, can't hide them) and Garrus looks better in his loyalty armour.
Got a question for you guys, I know Tali isn't a 'born' leader like Shepard or Garrus. But if she lead her own squad, who do you think it will consist of?
It can be anyone in the Mass Effect universe (not just Shepard's squaddies.)

Do you think the AAs will carry over into ME3? I mean, they look cool (well, some of 'em,) but I'm not entirely convinced they're worth my money/M$ Points when I don't play ME2 much anymore. And even then, they're just aesthetic changes.

Great to implement in fanfictions, I'm sure, but game-wsie I'm probably just gonna pass.

I honestly think the mention of the visor on Tali was meant as a subtle joke seeing how people reacted to there being a visor/glasses on every other squadmate.

Nope, I'm quite sure that they're only ME2 related. I guess we'll have to expect a redesign more... massive for the next game. Simply BW re-hyped ME2 thanks to the PS3 release and it's doing some enjoyable, but far from being fundamental, extra contents. I won't be surprised to see a third AA pack and pair of new armors for Shepard before the release of the last bridge DlC.

Also... seems that BW simply have a visor-fetish xD

Or Jack's romance. What he described is the Masochism Tango to an extent.

Agreed. I've got nothing against Jack but esentially her romance is the story of a woman jumped in the main plot from the middle of nowhere, that after a free-of-implications sex time decides to believe that you care about her if you return for the round 2. She's not a bad character, but really... she needed desperately a better romance development. One more reason for playing as xenophile Shepard and 'mance quarian girls ^__^

Took the words right out of my mouth. I see this stock character everywhere (particularly in romantic comedies, the most contemptible genre of film imaginable), and every time their very presence is like nails on a chalkboard.
This rant here sums up my feeling on the "bickering couples" perfectly.

Fortunately, there are characters like Tali whose romance arc doesn't come across like watching an old married couple argue.

Re: Romance discussion: I very much like that the Tali romance has a strong foundation of friendship, and mutual trust & respect.

That is why she attracted me so much. It didn't revolve around T&A, but around her trush, which is what her character was built around. Also the past friendship, as Mr. Collider stated above, is really awesome. She is such a strong female character and contains many male traits which makes her so interesting, but when you get really close to her, break past the fire and find the warm, affectionate part of her, you find how sweet and bubbly her character is. As hard as she can appear, she is such a delicate character, so fragile which makes her so appealing.

I agree with that. Tali just seems to have so much to her relationship then Miranda and Jack do. Sorry sort of new here, well not really I just don't comment much.
Anyways back on topic. Like you said, Tali's romance has a strong foundation of friendship and mutual trust and respect. It just makes the relationship seem so much more fitting.

I am personally a fan of not romancing someone in the same game they show up in... Seems too soon to me. Hence why my Shep's almost exclusively romance Garrus and Tali. If Wrex is a squaddie in ME3 one of my FemSheps wouldn't be opposed to a mance with him. Although it would seem rather, odd... Physically anyways. It seriously took a LOT of trust to allow her to destroy the genophage cure in ME, some damn good foundation right there.

The only exceptions to this are Ashley and Kaiden. Ashley is just too hot-headed for my tastes, and as for Carth... I mean Kaiden. He just sounds so... So... Waaaaaaaaah! Maybe it's because Kaiden was such a whiner in KotOR... Oh wait that was Carth. I'm thinking maybe I'll give him a shot in my next ME playthrough in hopes that he gets repaired in ME3.
